Okay folks, do not shoot the messenger – but this has to be the most unoriginal tip ever.

Had a text from a mate of mine who knows nobody in Ireland: the Munster National (Limerick 4:25) – Total Recall (not run since February but the favourite; Mullins and Walsh).
Impressive..well done

Today's darts are on the following: Ellison possibly with a treble with NEWSTART, BAL DE RIO and FOREST BIHAN. BDR is my main bet today. At Uttoxeter I like SPORTING BOY and MIAMI PRESENT with MP being my next best bet and I also fancy the double for Ruby on FABULOUS SAGA and CHILDRENS LIST.

Typical the main fancy gets beat but the other two win for Ellison.

Love these National slogs though this one at only 3 miles is hardly a marathon trip. Rock On Fruity would appear to be carrying the JP money. My considerably smaller ew wager is Phil's Magic @16/1. Also a nice weight and in fine form having already prevailed in a 'National' in July. A decent 2 mile chase on offer at Kelso with Simply Ned being my pick having run well in this on his seasonal bow last year. Meets the winner on much more favourable terms this time round. Also interested to see how The Twisler gets on over hurdles for the first time at Uttoxeter having been decent on the level. Good luck anyone having a punt.
Well I was right about Simply Ned turning the tables on last year's winner (just) but Forest Bihan easy winner. Nice place money for Phil's Magic though the 3 JP lightweights all got brought down. Not sure what Mullin's has done to Total Recall but unrecognisable from the 130 horse that Sandra Hughes had. Absolutely pissed it.
Edit: nice one QM. Didn't see you'd stuck it up earlier.

Great shout haven't had a bet today but thanks for sharing QM ;)

Well done QM, some money there for Willies, bookies took a hammering which is always nice to see. Willie starting the season well so gona back the fav in the big one at Navan; money down for that one as well.

Well done QM. 2/1 not a bad price either

Got hammered in the betting Ron too. Was much bigger yesterday evening. They knew!
Did you see those 2 goals your Wycombe lad (Eze) scored yesterday against Cambridge. Absolute belters.

Reactions: Ron
Ibsen 12/1 each way in the irish Ces. Been in good form this year. The fav looks very short on what he has achieved. And Snow Falcon keeps getting beat when fancied.

Yep. Class

Just wondering why you don't bet online, rather than trudging to the betting shops which are usually dumps and have worse prices than online (mostly)?

I have no online accounts. When you are winning they close them. Why play to the bookies’ game? I was fifty yards from the bookies when I got the info so I went there.

Nowadays they scan your bets in the betting shops, so clearly they know where their liabilities lie and they rig the markets accordingly. If Hills still take “local odds” bets, I should have put ‘PMU’ or ‘American Odds’ on my bet and got paid at 9.7/1.

Well done with the winner QMII

Just for the record, I never had a penny on it because I thought that 4/1 for a horse that had not run for seven months was a joke. I am happy for anybody that was on (including my mate at 4/1) but I would not touch it.

Didn't have a bad day:

10p e/w L15: Mayo Star - Forest Bihan - Castletown - Romulus du Donjon - returned £3-01.

25p e/w Patent - Aqua Dude - Irish Octave - Generous Day - returned £14-49

£1 e/w singles: Nietzche - Ibsen - Snow Falcon - Lord Erskine :) - returned £34 - 20

Regarded as a huge prospect!
I see he made the Sky Bet League 2 of the week team and also the Sky Bet goal of the week in league 2 was between Eze's first goal and Eze's second goal <laugh>
