I don't speak form personal experience but experience of a young lad I know and try to help out that he had a complete and utter psycho head who bought him christmas presents 6 months after he dumped her and changed numbers etc etc

I'd ignore it for however long her holiday is and frankly, you know her tactics now. It will be the tears on demand effort so IMO its not scummy to dump via texts when you know thats what you are facing.

I'd never normally advocate that approach but the waterworks as a tactic to avoid a conversations she brought up herself says manipulation to me.

That's the plan really. She was on about face timing me or some **** and said she'll message but I think I'll just be screening those then when the inevitable comes to a head or she tries to see me next week it'll be the old heave ho via text to avoid a scene, which I don't like to do as people deserve more than that, but I did discuss it last night tbf so guess it's ok

I'm not!

I know plenty of genuine women who are not into this ****. I know one thats a classic waterworks and freaker outer to avoid things she's scared of. She learned it as a child and still does it as her parents split up and she could get **** off the father by doing it.

Basically most people who do it are childish and haven't delivered anything for themselves, they have been handed it. They've learned how to manipulate and then apply this to all relationships.

My saintly wife takes no **** from me cos she never got away with **** as a child.

Most of the women I work with have no such issues cos you can't get by in work without having achieved something for yourself in education and getting on with it.

Sensitive girls wouldn't have done what Redla has already said she's been at. She brought the topic up then started the tears.

Well she said she was sensitive which is understandable, women are emotional beings, but I do think women exploit situations with that stuff to try and continue having the proverbial cake

we are all emotional. I know men who are cry babies too.

IMO the first test on the first date is what was your childhood like and what education or acheivements have you done.

People who've had to work hard and not had the easy ride and delivered their own diploma/ degree or whatever are not like that. (but not saying you need a uni degree not to be a snowflake)

Or redlad treats women as dirt and just uses them for sex, possibly scared of commitment. Just playing Devil's advocate, I am sure Redlad is a great guy, but if he ever comes near any of my female relatives he will be eligible for a job in a harem!

Nah, the fact that he stuck with this one a while despite the early red flags and long time for physical connection says he's not your stereotypical ****-boy. Can't speak of fear of commitment, but he's expressed at least wanting to do the right thing on here.

tbh I meant fitting any carpets. You can be rightly proud of yourself for the amount of work and sheer effort you've put in to make that amazing space for your family.

I've just got a message from that girl in which she has used the two pink hearts emoji and the couple with a heart between them emoji ... wtf ?!

Changed a lightbulb two weeks ago though

But he's gay right, didn't you say? Honestly, from what you've described she doesn't sound like the kind to sleep around. My best friend in uni was a girl. Slept in same bed with her several times. Never any hanky panky... Never any thoughts of it.

Unless you think he's trying to book her, I don't see a problem myself.

Apparently. I don't know him, guys pull that kinda 'gay/might be gay/might want to bang' **** sometimes, I dunno. I've dated a girl in the past who was cagey about that sleeping in the same bed stuff and I'm 99% sure something was going on, but yeah I know girls are like that having pyjama parties with those kind of guys. Just part of the modern life where they want to have the cake and eat it as I said earlier. It's just she never even mentioned this till she was practically on the plane. Still not very thrilled by the prospect gay or straight, don't think it's very respectful ...
