I'm not belittling the belief that that life exists elsewhere in this universe, as I believe it does. I just don't believe the stories that are put forward as evidence that intelligent life has visited Earth. And I certainly don't believe the narrative that people like David Icke eschew. I think he preys on people who jump at conspiracies to promote his own bonkers views and sell books etc.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that we should question what we are told.

What we've seen is the 'Pede try to take me down, and fail, pathetically.

A couple of non-'Pede interlopers have popped in to have a go, but they are clearly of a very inferior mentality that it is absolutely no import.

Then there has been PNP... I will not comment on that because he's one of our own, and that isn't what us Yiddos do (except PNP, of course).

Otherwise, all that has happened is that the HIAG lad has wound you into a ****ing frenzy.

Anyway, HIAG is trying to turn this thread back into a debate about him again, we all know he's a prick so there's not much else to add.

Therefore I'll get it back on topic again, where I see that Trump has arrived in Las Vegas and is signing the praises of the emergency services. They deserve credit for everything that they did. But the best thing he could do for them, is to push for legislation that prevents them having to mop up after somebody has gone on a gun crazed assault.

So far his comments on gun control 'Maybe we will talk about that, in time....'

Agree with all of that apart from the first bit which I'm highly doubtful of.

After the moon landing <doh> does anybody still believe that happened? I think people would be crazy not to question the Yanks over big events that happen.

If their gun laws were ever going to change, then it would have been about 5 years ago when 20 school kids got shot in the face. That wasn't enough for them to change any laws so I doubt anything ever will.

I'm finding it harder and harder to feel sympathetic for the Yanks when something like this happens now, because of their attitude and arrogance towards guns. It feels a bit like 'you reap what you sow'
