So you haven't won any trophies in the last three years, apart from the one that you did?
    Er, ok.

Celtic wouldn't challenge Man Utd for anything.
    Your revenue is currently £52.6m.
Add £60m to that and you're still miles short of the other teams that you mention, let alone Man Utd.
    You still wouldn't compete financially.

Your fans follow your club because you're consistently successful and there's a media blitz on the Old Firm in Scotland.
If you were languishing in mid-table and there was a separate Scottish League going on, which was actually competitive and the teams could qualify for European competition, then both of those reasons would be gone.

Celtic have a world wide fan base , yet look at your epl teams , Bolton Stoke , Wigan , Norwich etc when sky are playing their games in Australia , America and other foreign cities to you think the bars are filled with their supporters ? no chance . When are sky going to cotton on , even now your bigger clubs , everton,Arsenal , Newcastle and even Spurs all given 60 million and what have these clubs spent ??? Can sky be happy with that ??? Your league is the same as ours man utd and Chelsea top two every season .If sky went bust tomorrow , how many English epl teams would survive ??? Celtic and Rangers would be fine

No-one is disputing that your league is very partisan, or that Scottish fans are as fervent as any. However, please remind me, when is the last time anybody but Celtic or Rangers, won the SPL??

Celtic's worldwide fan base is a myth.
If you had millions of dedicated fans around the world, then you'd have some money.
You don't, you've just got a load of casual fans that follow the club vaguely, because they're of either Irish or Scottish descent.

I'm having trouble working out what you mean by your second point.
The clubs that you've mentioned have spent far, far less money than the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd, if you're trying to suggest that they should've done better.
The top two has been disrupted as recently as two seasons ago, when Liverpool finished 2nd.
The last time that a team outside of Glasgow won the title was about 26 years ago, wasn't it?

Rangers and Celtic are nearly bust now, never mind if Sky were to go under.
    Ridiculous claim.

Spurs have won more European trophies than the Old Firm.
    Much harder league to win.

That's hardly the point, is it. As I'm sure you must realise. So, it's over a quarter of a century since anybody but Celtic or Rangers won the SPL? Words like monopoly start to spring to mind!

And the top English clubs are light years behind the the two Spanish giants , is that most one sided champions league final, now forgotten because spurs beat a rank rotten Hearts team ??? not the score the facts , passes , no united corners , most united passes the goalie to vidic 5 passes , compared to messie to xavi 70 passes, get your own problems. Sorted before picking on a nation of under 5 million which has achieved so much in world football , why is there 6 glasweign managers in your league ????

So Man Utd perform badly in one game and that makes up for the SPL being utterly dire, does it?
Your small nation shouldn't affect Celtic and Rangers either, as you've got worldwide support, apparently.

Hearts may be rank, but they were the third best team in your league last year.
    Says it all, really.

Be honest last year that Man utd team was their worst in twenty years yet still won the league in a cantor, they had that one performance coming all season, forget the myth the English league is not the best league in the world , I would actually even put the german league higher , watch their highlights on espn , not thousand upon thousands of empty seats in their league , obviously the Spanish is the best

The Bundesliga has a lot of full stadiums because tickets are incredibly cheap.
Borussia Dortmund fans protested at plans to raise some ticket prices to above €20.
They even get travel perks thrown in.

What does La Liga and the Bundesliga got to do with the SPL being crap, anyway?

"How many of the epl managers learnt their trade in Scotland"...what, like Big Eck? relegated one team and is more than likely to do it with another!

"Charlie Adams was found out in the spl yet worth 10 million now."...yet Hutton was worth 10m in your league and worth about 10p now in ours!

    :D

Liam Miller was meant to be Keane's replacement and turned out to be utter pish(that's what you guys say right?). Buying from the SPL is very hit and miss, even moreso than the Eredvise.

Last player of real quality to play in SPL was Henrik Larsson.

"Your league is the same as ours man utd and Chelsea top two every season"

Not exactly - from the 2000/02 season Utd have been in the top 2 seven times and Chelsea have been in it 7 times as well. Granted in recent years there has been a period where those two teams have been dominant but the chasing pack is rarely far behind. Whereas in the same period (and for considerably longer) the Old Firm has dominated the top two places in the SPL - since the 95/6 season only once has a different club (Hearts in 05/6) broken the Old Firm monopoly. The gap between second and third seemed (from a quick glance at the SPL website) to be anything up to 30pts.

Now nobody really complains about La Liga being a two team league because the top two are two of the best teams in the world. The SPL on the other hand have a top two who, regardless of their history, have failed to get into the CL this year and are not yet guaranteed to progress in the EL. This is damaging for both the clubs and Scottish football as a whole.

So you are right - The SPL has nothing in common with La Liga or the Bundesliga, as the latter is an extremely competitive league. Spurs also have nothing in common with the Champions League as we are a club and the CL is a competition, albeit one in which we performed very well last year in our debut season, especially when compared to Rangers who didn't get out of their group and Celtic who didn't even make it to the group stages.

Yes you mention spurs effort last season , what about the twenty years before that ??? And as an outsider looking in very much doubt you will be in top 4 this season with utd , Chelsea and city assurred and Liverpool or arsenal getting the other place , the winner of the spl gets right into the group stages next season
