Too true. Winning away, even by a 1-0 scoreline, at Bramall Lane and the Riverside is something not many teams will achieve this season, so those points might be extra precious as the season wears on <ok>

Let's look at things this month in the Championship in perspective - played 5, GF 3, GA 0; Points 11. I think I said at the beginning of the month that more than 10 points would be good and we've still got one game left!!!
The 2 goalless draws at home were disappointing, but IMO the 2 away wins MORE than made up for them!!!

Whilst the away wins were undoubtedly an unexpected bonus, our home form needs improving sharpish, Promotions are not built on bore draws at home. I think we will improve, even if it means we open up a little and take a few more risks, the trouble is what is working away, is not the best game plan for beating teams content with a point at home.

Bah!

Scoring an early goal at home would make the opposition be more attack minded, meaning more room for our forward players. Side note, anyone notice that Simon Lappin has moved back to Norfolk, and is currently training to be an ailrline pilot. Mulryne became a sky pilot earlier.

Wow. Delph must have had played a magical 20 Premier League minutes this season to deserve that England call up. I know he scored a cracking goal, but still.....ffs...

From the BBC goss page.

Uefa will count any future transfer fee Paris St-Germain pay Monaco for on-loan France striker Kylian Mbappe, 18, within the same period as their £200m deal for Brazil forward Neymar. It is a potentially damaging development in terms of possible financial fair play sanctions the French club could face.

He might save them eventually, but I wasn't convinced when he was announced. He has a very long process. His training is really repetitive and mundane. Apparently the players really hate it at first, then they do start to notice results change, and they buy into it.

Unfortunately they have lost a load of winable games, and Wroy takes over as they hit the top teams. So they are playing these games while the players are still in the stage of "bored and not sure what he's doing" They have to hope that after this bad run of top teams, the results come pretty instantly.

So GH helps the Owls defeat Leeds and they seem to be losing ground on the leaders.

Edit - great to see how in the space of a month, we're challenging for a top 10 slot, as opposed to be challenging for a 'relegation' slot!!!
PS - Amazed to see the Black Cats in the relegation zone with a goal difference of -9!?!?
