You got an offer ranging from 140 to 160 mill if not more, depending on what sources you read. Mbappe is joining PSG for 166Mill in the Summer...he is the biggest talent being touted nowadays. You was getting way more than Coutinho was worth. You didn't want to sell him...and I know what I saw on here and anywhere else when discussing the Coutinho sale. Every Pool fan saying we won't sell him, what's wrong with that? Which fan wants to sell their best players? I understand that stance. Hence why you will be hard pushed to find a comment on here from me that was trying to flog him off on your behalf. We know the realities of life...if he goes he goes...I still got to get up and go to work next morning. However as fans of a club of course we are going to be determined to keep our best players...just like Pool were just over a month ago. So that's why Spurs fans think they can keep hold of Kane or at least not offer him around like its supposed to be our duty to.
Absolutely, I've gone off him a bit...he just tries flicks n ****s when a simple pass would do the job. Walks around like he will try when he wants. Still shows his potential but he is not playing like a player determined to be the best...opposite end to Kane in that spectrum. We got him for 5 mill we will sell him for bucket loads. Our team would be better off if that money is spent wisely.
They didn't sell for 2 reasons: 1. no time to get a replacement 2. fake bids from barca. Apparantly trying to offer something ridiculous like 20m up front, 15m over 5 seasons and like 20m if he wins the ballon dior etc
Yeah I heard all that but I also heard that they got massive offers too...and the player himself wanted to go. Plus the point still remains, no fan wants to lower themselves to saying that there players can go with a cute little ribbon wrapped around them. We all support our clubs and harbour ambitions for them. There is more than a handful of clubs in the world and the rest of us enjoy watching our teams do well also. Therefore naturally when the daily 'sell a Spur' is taking place...some people might disagree.
You know the realities of life mate no problems there and your post makes sense, not everyone thinks like that though.
Anybody that imagines that there is any significant degree of 'loyalty' in football is at best naiive and at worse completely delusional ... clubs just have to make players adhere to the contract if they are determined to keep a player (and there is no release clause) ...
No one is saying Levy is going to sell him with a bow (well he may do if the offer is high enough). As fans you don't want your favourite players to leave especially when you don't think its at the right price. Kane won't go without a fight but people think he will leave if he throws a strop and wants to leave. No doubt theres a decision to be made whether they will still perform if they are unhappy if they are made to stay (personally i think more clubs should force their player to stay) especially one on a long contract like kane and who wants to do well and works hard. There will be a price that levy will sell for, if PSG offered 200m and Neymar, or if Real offered 500m you'd probably snap their hands off and send Kane off yourself.
There have been emails leaked showing some of the offers being nonsense, they have history for it though I'd like to think we'll refuse to deal with them if they continue to do business in the way they do by releasing info to La Marca. If they want him stump up the cash early doors in the Summer we'll then go buy someone.
Kane will go for £100m+ as that's the market now. Alli will fetch a high price by not what some people are quoting. He'll probably fetch £75-£80m. I don't think Spurs fans should get too excited about that money being reinvested into the squad either, as a large chunk of it will go towards improving player contracts and paying for the stadium .
You Yids are so precious you think all your players are top draw and worth more than anybody else's yet won **** all.
Got **** all to with it. Like most of your Chav sort, you're rabidly anti-Spurs, and that clouds your judgement on anything to do with us or our players. If Alli is sold at all, it will be for well north of £100 mill
He's certainly the star out of them all but history tells us that Danny boy loves to sell the faimily silver but he will fetch £150 at todays prices.
