No doubt he would have been a first on the team sheet at Spuds but for us he made 9 appearances (8 as sub) over two years. We quickly realised he was a plumber hence he is playing for Apoel.
Of course you have Bell, of course you have. 3 goals against the Plumbers of Cyprus is an embarrassment, anybody else would get a hat full
HAIG saying he'll use an avatar for a month if he loses a bet! We all know how that will go. I actually agree with @Blueman What makes you Spurs fans think Kane is any different to other football players? If a big club comes in willing to pay his value he'll want to go.
What you fail to understand though HIAG is that I cannot lose this bet. If I have to change my avatar, unlike you I will 'fully honour the terms of the bet' and demonstrate once again that you are a welcher.
Great result for Spurs last night, good that Madrid won too. If they can take a point from one of the games against Madrid they'll be in good shape.
I don't know why but I actually think they might get one more season out of Kane, think if there's interest n they ask him for one he won't kick off and he'll knuckle down whereas Alli for example I can see kicking right off.
IMHO one win or two draws against Madrid will be necessary. One draw means whatever the other results, they could be meh about a home loss to Dortmund while still topping the group.
I find that silly coming from a Liverpool fan who was adamant that Coutinho is not for sale, won't be sold etc etc. Why? Because you support your club, I got that. Maybe he might go, maybe he won't but we support our team and that's not what is on our agenda, to sell off our best players. Unlike every other fan on here who loves the thought of selling our best players, maybe that's what it is...it's called having a backbone and some pride or should we just say 'yeah ok whenever you want him I'll drop him off' or words to that affect. If this was a discussion between 2 Spurs fans it would probably have a different dynamic. Look at Arsenal...Sanchez is down to his last year...but naturally the fans are still hopeful that they can get him to stay, I actually get that...when you tap into the football fan in you, you would see it too. Just like when I was backing Pool to keep Coutinho due to the sheer arrogance of some clubs who think they can get what they want. It's no coincidence you got 2 Chavvy fans loving your comment...sums up the vibe of your post. Either way there's more chance of Levy selling Kane for less money to a club abroad than some Blue ****e in London...so if he goes...that's life...it will be to a proper big club not some money laundering project by a Russian gangster for a start
5 mill we paid for Alli...3 figure return...he will go abroad and we can use that money. I'm not too bothered about Alli going...he's good but I've seen good on a better consistent level before. You watched him this year? He thinks he's made it.
You misunderstand the stance we took, he wasn't allowed to leave for 2 reasons, the deal offered wasn't good enough and we didn't have a replacement. Rewind back to the Summer and if Barca bid a serious amount at the start of the window we would have looked to replace him and he'd be where he wants to be. Same with Kane, if the right money is on the table at the right time and he says he wants to go you will sell.
Alli is a cocky bell end imo. His body language reeks of it. He dumped his agent in the summer and is being courted by both Mendes and Raiola, which only means one thing......he'll be on his way at the end of the season imo.
