Anyone else looking forward to seeing him getting punched in the face?

38 years old and he reckons he can be a serious boxer that could chase a title....is he on crack?

He'll be at Cruiserweight I'd imagine, which means he'd be in with fighters who can really bang. The idea that he can just pick up a pair of gloves and learn the noble art to a point were he'd be a serious boxer is barking imo.

Well he's already been on performance enhancing drugs since at least 2003.

I agree. I think when footballers or even other sportsmen like flintoff do this it almost seems like it's on a whim because they are bored after stopping 'their' sport. It's a bit disrespectful to guys who have worked towards boxing all their lives thinking they can just pick up the gloves and get in the ring.
Having said that I can't stand boxing anyway, the way people latch on and pretend they like it when there's a big fight. I was in Vegas recently by chance when the Mayweather fight was on and was happier taking advantage of everything else being quiet!

Assuming he actually gets a licence (which is far from a given) they'll no doubt stick him in with a couple of fat old journeymen who he'll be able to see off.

However, if he persevered with this and ended up in the ring with even a half decent boxer, he'll get sparked.

What happened with his wife is sad but he messed about on her and shouldn't be treated as this wonderful husband. If I had acted like he had I'd want out of the media and wouldn't be looking to get myself on the tv so often. If he gets smashed by a decent boxer there is always the chance he could be hurt and where does that leave his kids?

Not that he'll ever get within a country mile of that kind of level. I'd question what his motives were tbh

He won't get anywhere Tobes. Even a low level professional would beat him. No diving allowed in boxing.
