There's no guarantee that the Spuds are going to settle into their new stadium immediately either.
This could be the first of many seasons where they struggle without the comfort of WHL.

This is the same Burnley that beat Chelsea.

We battered them and should have won by a cricket score.

When everything gels, we are going to embarrass teams, like 'Pool embarrassed the Gunners, today - only worse.
And the same Chelsea side that dry humped you the week before.

Don't thank me <ok>

I agree.

Poch is playing it down, as you would expect; but I doubt anyone at the club is under any delusion that this season is going to be tough.

I'm look forward to us getting settled at the new Lane.

If we are going to finish outside the top 4 this season, I'd like to see us win a cup.

On a plus point, things could be a lot worse - we could be Arsenal!

This dodgy Argy Poncetto seems to have developed a Plan-B Bell. 1-1 with 45 seconds left he wastes precious time bringing on a sexually traumatised Colombian defender.

You couldn't make it up could you <laugh>

Well, well, well. After all the waves caused by Walker & Rose over the summer the Spud hierarchy must have hoped to have ridden out he storm with a few cheap summer buys but wait... ripples have once again emerged with Vincent Janssen, 23, is finished at Tottenham after the £17m striker refused to leave the club on deadline day. (Mirror)

That's £25,000 PW they must pay for the remaining three years of the flops contract but those ripples pale in to insignificance compared to the broadside from central defender Toby Alderweireld, 28, demands improved terms or let him leave for another club, says the player's adviser. (Het Nieuwsblad via Daily Telegraph)

Not he best news after dropping four points from six at graveyard Wembley.

Just when you thought it was impossible, this thread gets that little bit more tragic than it was yesterday!
<laugh>

I may have him on IGNORE, but I can still revel in the complete and utter ****wittedness of the twat who created this ill-advised thread!

Apparently Pep is after Alderwiereld now as a replacement for Kompany.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is targeting Tottenham's £60m-rated want away defender Toby Alderweireld, 28, as a long-term successor to Belgium team-mate Vincent Kompany, 31. (Sun on Sunday)
Poor old Skiddy. Just like the Sun, he can't tell the difference between 'want away' and 'wants a rise'. He will get his rise and he will stay. Next

I can't see what Skiddy wrote (as I have him on IGNORE), but I have little doubt that he was being a twat, and that you well-and-truly owned his sorry ass.
