That January, at least two threads appeared on here either calling for the manager's head, or asking why the club was not doing more to prevent the impending catastrophe.
I scanned that too quickly and thought you were hoping someone would do something about apostrophes....now that would be a war worth winning.
It won't be me waging that war. I'm usually confused enough without letting those little buggers worry me.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain "We're in good form going into the Man City game, after we beat Arsenal 4-0 last week" Made me laugh
Just read this on the Scouse board.... "Chelsea bought Drinkwater and Everton bought Drinkdriver"....
He appears to be making noises..... Tottenham's 28-year-old Belgium international defender Toby Alderweireld, whose current contract runs until 2020, has urged the club to hand him an improved deal, insisting a host of other clubs are keen to sign him. (The Sun)
Well tough Toby, you've got a contract until 2020. Just as well we didn't sign him or we would have had 2 getting stroppy.
Interesting fact I've just read........... If Colleen divorces Rooney and takes half of everything, she'll have more winner's medals than Steven Gerrard.
Be interesting how it pans out, I'm assuming the rest of Europe are keeping the 31st August deadline?
This will lead to some interesting situations, as PL clubs will still be able to sell players to non-PL teams but not buy them after the start of the season. On the whole it's a great move though.
