Boxing Day.
We thought it would turn our season around, but I think we lost the next 2. Somehow we went on that blistering run (that coincided with me doing the match day threads) and finished 6th
That January, at least two threads appeared on here either calling for the manager's head, or asking why the club was not doing more to prevent the impending catastrophe.
I scanned that too quickly and thought you were hoping someone would do something about apostrophes....now that would be a war worth winning.

It won't be me waging that war. I'm usually confused enough without letting those little buggers worry me.
I remember that well. We went from getting relegated and spiralling into oblivion, to finishing 6th.

Well tough Toby, you've got a contract until 2020. Just as well we didn't sign him or we would have had 2 getting stroppy.

Be interesting how it pans out, I'm assuming the rest of Europe are keeping the 31st August deadline?
This will lead to some interesting situations, as PL clubs will still be able to sell players to non-PL teams but not buy them after the start of the season. On the whole it's a great move though.
They should probably have a clause that states nobody can leave too, surely.
