We need a player like him in there. He's the only one we have got other than Reed. But they are different kinds of Midfielders. Tetty is much more holding, defensive and strength based. We need that in this League.
DF DEFINITELY needs to play Tettey in away matches, even if only for 60 to 75 minutes

All a bit familiar. Like Coutinho Suddenly being fit from his crippling disability and scoring for Brazil. Ozil has stopped being sh*t and has scored a cracker for Germany.

Lucky to be 1-1 at half time. Can't believe this is a home game.

First Goal, awful all round, but Joe Hart didn't even set himself right for the shot. It's like Southgate doesn't want to risk such a sensitive position. But he's doing by playing our 5th best GK!! He's experienced, but he's lost it, he's really, really poor! So it's a bigger risk to play him.

Equaliser, Rashford has hit the corner and failed to beat the first man again. Dier has done so well to turn that into the back of the net.

Yet another cracking article from the contributors on MFW - 'After the rush of early fixtures, I’m sure Daniel Farke has relished the two-week gap. Not as a break, but as a chance to take stock and work with the players under less immediate pressure of games. He’s a man of ideas, some of which will surely have been tweaked in the light of new experience.
His team selection for Birmingham will be fascinating to see. I’m sure he’ll approach it with some thought – and creativity.'

Yes DF, I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to seeing if you've learnt anything from your 'baptism of fire' of Championship football!!! <ok>

I think it will be much of the same we have seen. Baffling selections. He doesn't seem to learn from the last game, or seem to know how managers or teams play to combat it. He just seems to pick who he wants, and doesn't matter who we play.

Jesus!!!

Just coz you do a back heel in their box, doesn't mean we are out classing these amateur footballers! Stop giving away possession by trying to look flash!! None of you are anywhere near class. Just shoot or pass to someone! The amount of time they try a skill and it ends up as an opposition attack!

if we win this, yet again DD will say we are the best team in the world, but my god. This England team has played so bad again. It's worse than watching Norwich at times. Even the pundits are in shock.

Just seen this on the BBC websitw - 'Uefa says it is not investigating Manchester City over its Financial Fair Play rules, despite the Spanish league calling for it to do so. European football's governing body is already investigating if Paris St-Germain have broken rules designed to stop clubs from 'financial doping'.
La Liga president Javier Tebas said City and PSG's "funding by state-aid distorts European competitions and creates an inflationary spiral that is irreparably harming the football industry".
But a Uefa statement read: "There is no investigation into Manchester City with regards to FFP regulations. Any reports mentioning such an investigation are unsubstantiated." City and PSG spent hundreds of millions of pounds on new players this summer. <doh>

No I won't I'll say we have won 2 games in 4 days and will probably qualify for Russia.
England have been **** since Euro 96.

Slovakia are a decent side and were never going to just roll over.
