I suppose it could be worse.

Just read the Guardian article on Newcastle not bringing any new players in despite Benitez trimming the wage bill by £200k per month. He'll not be happy and I am guessing will be at West Ham soon.

Thanks for everything Ehaw

200k a month is what, 46k per week, so that's 1.5 premier league players - Benitez is in that case talking crap by the looks of it.

Not that I want to post on this ****ng thing again but his it will go with growshitski is this.

The next game we lose. Daws or another defender will lose his man at a corner. We'll lose 1-0 and the board will call **** out of Growshitski.

Apparently West Ham are interested if he quits Newcastle, but the WH fans think that it would be the stupidest move ever, really out of the frying pan & into the inferno! With their owners they make the Allams look good!
Their bidding techniques are ask how much the buyout clause of a player is, bid just under it then pull out of the deal & claim the selling club wouldn't move.
Most WH fans believe they accidentally smashed their transfer record with Arnautovic because they weren't expecting Stoke to say yes!<laugh>

Benitez reminds me of Mourniho to an extent, both "buy" squads rather then develop players.

Rarely do either get a young talented player and mould them (unlike Fergie, Wenger, Kopp ect).

The article did say Ashley thinks Benitez can develop the players he has.
