Alternatively Ehab thinks that he's earning more from the football club than the generator business, and is even less inclined to sell...

I've said it before and it's not based on anything but a hunch and the way these ****s seem to do business, but I just can't see them going. I think they get a perverse enjoyment from it.

I saw something yesterday that said Fulham were interested in Grosicki, just not at the £11m asking price.

I think Musa and/or Success were always dependent on selling Grosicki.

The owners were never going to sanction a seven figure loan fee and same again in wages for a player who would have meant either another seven figures of wages or the division's joint top scorer sitting on the bench.

For what he has shown so far we over paid, that's why he's still here. If he continues to play like he did against Bolton there will be offers in January and ehab will cash in.

Wilson hit the nail on the head.

Now we have some new assets, some we got cheap some for nowt, it is quite possible their value will go up.

Wasn't grosicki 7 mil?

If he continues as he's started then our most saleable asset must be Bowen in terms of return on investment. £50k spent and he looks a £5m player at present.

Bowen is a nest-egg, he plays consistently well and scores goals, he's young and if he continues he'll be playing PL soon - hopefully with us

Grosicki isn't as reliable, he turns up for one game and destroys a poor team, people are over-rating him.

of the two I'd sell Turbo, Bowen offers better value for money, Grosicki is a bit of a luxury

What I think the ****wits who run this club have missed, if wages was the stumbling block for Musa or any other player, is that given that buzz around that player signing, they could likely have guaranteed another 2k bums on seats at an average £15 a time for an amount of time and if things went really well probably increased to 3k bums. That would have paid the wages and then some...

So 20 lots of £45k (£900k). Loan fee would have been more than that.

I'd love to know who's over-rating Grosicki cos there seems to be only me and Chazz who rate him at all.

Not true, I rate him. I just don't think he's as good as he thinks he is and his attitude seemingly stinks. If you ask if he's worth £5m I'd say yes, if you asked £10m I'd say no.

We certainly have ****wits running the club, but as the terms between the clubs were agreed and it was only the player who rejected the move, this is a rather odd post.

Unfortunately in today's football, I don't think gate receipts mean a great deal in terms of income. They should follow the Bundesliga with low ticket prices and pack stadiums out. Pretty sure some season tickets in Germany are cheaper than paying for sky!
