So is £148m. It's relative. Is Couthino £56m better than Lemar? I have no idea but Klopp will. Personally, I'd make a move for Draxler....but what do I know?
Turned down a bid from Palace of £25M for Sakho saying we want £30M, they move onto Mangala. Are we being a bit silly here?
All he appeared to be saying (and I'm paraphrasing) was that the amount of influence that players have is detrimental to the running of the team, basically that players should understand their place. He agreed with LFC's stance to refuse to sell. He ran his club with an iron fist, so it's entirely consistent that he sees managerial strength as a good and necessary thing.
Brazil coach on Coutinho Sky Sports News has just run an interview with Tite in which he expressed his thoughts on 'Phil' Coutinho's peace of mind: ; please log in to view this image Philippe Coutinho Credit: AFP PHOTO / Miguel SCHINCARIOL It has affected him and will continue to affect him until the transfer window closes. If he leaves, he will continue to be affected because he’ll need time to adapt to his new club. Players are human beings and they respond in different ways. I’m not sure how he will respond because it depends on the person. I don’t have an opinion on what is best for him. If he stays at Liverpool. I will be happy. If he goes to Barcelona I will be happy too. Have Barcelona given up on Coutinho? Chris Bascombe writes: Away from the UK, the desperation of Barcelona to spend the Neymar money could be one the most fascinating/hilarious/tragic sights over the next few days. Italy’s Corriere dello Sport suggests a €160m bid for Paulo Dybala has been rejected by Juventus. This follows the predictions the same offer – what would be the fourth– was being prepared for Philippe Coutinho. Liverpool made it known when those reports surfaced it would be rejected, which may explain why – as yet – it has not materialised.
Was thinking that. What's £5m to us in that aspect, rather take £25m for him than not sell him and just have him on reserves for 6 months before selling in Jan for half that.
so ins: ???? not sure about lemar. nobody else. outs: sahko markovic origi loan kent loan still dreaming on coutinho but its a case that he is playing tonight for brazil anyone else on loan?
Chelsea livid with Liverpool 09:45: Chelsea are furious with Liverpool and Arsenal after missing out on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Arsenal winger looked set to join the Blues after both clubs agreed a £40million fee. But the England international rejected a switch to north London at the last minute as he was holding out for a move to Liverpool. The Reds then made their move and are now on the verge of completing his transfer after the 24-year-old underwent a medical at St George’s Park last night, where he has been with the England squad preparing for tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier in Malta. And the Mirror claim Chelsea have been left angered by the actions of Liverpool and Arsenal, feeling like they have “been played” by the Anfield club to try and force Arsene Wenger’s side into selling to them.
****ing BBC Salford wasting more licence payers money. "Recently, here at BBC Sport, we have accepted the help of a state-of-the-art super-computer called SAM (Sports Analytics Machine). Ian McHale, together with his colleague, Tarak Kharrat, has built SAM and one of the things it can do is predict the impact certain transfers can have on a club. We posed SAM a few scenarios and what impact they may have, including Philippe Coutinho's departure from Liverpool. SAM computes that they would lose about 2.3 points, and the probability of them making the top 4 drops by 12%. Costly." We're not doing to bad without him, but they never thought of that.
the word on van dijk is as it was since june. lfc agreed then that whenever southampton became willing to deal they would contact LFC not the other way round. this there is no offer... no bid and until southampton call... however i presume this ends tonight at 11pm and then is full on unitl january to annoy the **** out of saints.
Am I the only one who prefers not spending silly on Lemar? The long-term implications of big money will not be good.
