Remember that lad who got forced off twitter by our 'head of communications ' - he used to get stuff right all the time - can't think of his name but he used to use incorrect words on purpose.
#LFC have medical staff on standby ready to travel to Paris to carry out medical for #LEMAR if a fee can be agreed. (@JamesPearceEcho) #Lemar is keen on a move to Anfield. (@JamesPearceEcho)
At the start of the day, we were told Liverpool would move for either Thomas Lemar of Monaco or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain of Arsenal. So when the club pushed through a deal for the latter, most assumed the former was off the table. However, Lemar making the switch to Anfield is still in play. According to both sources in France and journalists with ties to Liverpool, the signing of Oxlade-Chamberlain does not end the club’s interest in Lemar—but Liverpool will need to move quickly if they’re to secure a deal as the player is expected to start in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier for France. His involvement would make agreeing personal terms and undergoing a medical difficult if a deal cannot be pushed through this evening, and as a result it should only be a matter of hours before Liverpool fans know one way or another if Lemar is going to be joining the club for the 2017-18 season.
Nail it down. Then move onto VvD. Once he's done, we can announce that we've sold the little sh*t and perhaps get one more little surprise. Perfect last day #nojinx
then you're a muggins . Said from the start Salah would be good. Pretty much has a better record than Ox in terms of goals and assists for the season (standard OX performance for the year). One thing Salah has over Ox is a brain. He makes good runs and takes up good positions and gives and goes.
Jamie Carragher says he is interested to see how Jurgen Klopp will incorporate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain into the Liverpool team. The Arsenal midfielder is set to move to Liverpool in a £40m deal pending a medical and become Klopp’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window. Oxlade-Chamberlain was thought to be on the brink of a move to Premier League champions Chelsea on Tuesday. However, the 24-year-old turned down the chance to move to the west London side in favour of a transfer to Liverpool.
cn i just check i have this right we have signed Oxlade- Chamberlain for £35m which may rise to £40m even though he only has 1 year left on his contract ? oh & he is a bit meh. Pah so that is what all the excitement of last 72 hours has come to ....................shuffles off to practise my MITO impersonation
this is also why he has no brain. He's going to get less game at Liverpool than he will at Chelsea or Arsenal and he won't be in his favoured CM position
Good effort. If i were you i'd turn off autocorrect and mash the keys a bit more Btw what ive seen aound the place on fee and add ons is far more favourable to us.
I think he will. Direct competition for Lallana and will replace him while he is currently injured. Lallana has been playing behind the front 3 and thats where I see Chamberlain fitting in. Its just a plus that he can also provide cover out wide.
