£35m for Ox is to much even if he had a few years left on his contract, but when he only has a year to go and is so injury prone it is a waste of money
wow 35m + 5m add ons for oxo cube.
Thats expensive for essentially a bench player.
think you would have been better off getting mahrez for 45 for cover.
I guess the one thing you could say oxo is that he's more athletic than mahrez so can just slot in with the pressing game
It's an inflated price but he's a good footballer. Will definitely add more depth to our team and the guy is desperate to play for us.
I just hope that this isn't at the expense of Lemar ...
. He rejected 180k a week at Arsenal and turned down Chelsea because he wants to play for lfc and klopp. That kind of commitment is commendable and id like to think will mean he'll give everything in every game and not go off on a strop 2 years laterDecent player but more importantly we're still in for Lemar
This as well. He rejected 180k a week at Arsenal and turned down Chelsea because he wants to play for lfc and klopp. That kind of commitment is commendable and id like to think will mean he'll give everything in every game and not go off on a strop 2 years later
Different players though. Ox will offer cover wide but play centrally and at least be able to run forward with the ball something our current midfielders (bar Cout) are unable to do.
It is a lot of money. All I'll say is, as long as that £35m doesn't stop us pursuing other targets then fine.
Put it this way, if we sell Sakho for £30m then costs have covered themselves.

After a slow start we are getting somewhere. Slow and steady wins the race.

Chelsea offered £40m and had it turned down£35m is ridiculous for a guy that has 1 year left on his contract.

[HASHTAG]#standard[/HASHTAG]Klopp adding more speed to our team. We're gonna be so quick and dangerous in transition.
