It appears even though Bony has opprtunity to play European football at various qualifing clubs , he wishes to cpme to Swansea . This says to me that he is desperate to prove both Man City and Stoke wrong about his lack of playing time at both clubs . Im praying he comes , him and Abraham will be enough imo.
Don't forget the £10 million reported for Cork, the small transfer fee but large savings from Bafe wages. Also on decent wages (that we were paying part of or in full) were Emnes, Tabanou and Tremmel.
I didn't include Cork because his money went on Mesa. SSN showed yesterday that we've shipped out 21 players. That alone, must have freed up a huge amount of cash.
Players gone on loan or sold so far Gylfi Sigurdsson Jack Cork Bafétimbi Gomis Modou Barrow Franck Tabanou Liam Shephard Marvin Emnes Jordi Amat Stephen Kingsley Borja Bastón Matt Grimes Gerhard Tremmel
Bony / Lloremte - either fine Saches - not convinced Chadli apparently pushing WBA for a move to us - welcome at half the price but the name that has dropped off the radar is Arias - imo more important than the others.
Nobody, just seeking clarification. There are some on here, for instance, who are put out by those who don't sing off their song sheet.
The medical and necessary paper work could be done out there but then there's the clearance faf to go through as well .
Get your point Stereo, £13-15m is an absolute steel so we must put in a bid. But his signing would have been a great one if Llorente stayed. Without Llorente the pressure is on Bony big time. He will have the weight of our expectation on him plus that of his previous success it wont be easy for him to reach the levels he did last time. Also he doesn't have much flair around him either so that could also have an effect on his impact. Hope he comes but I also hope we sign Arias and Chadli too but I doubt any of them will happen. If Llorente goes, which willbe a huge mistake imo, then we HAVE TO sign a striker and for £13-15m there is no better striker out there than Bony, except Llorente of course.
