Despite the hysterical, hormonal gushing on ITTV, serious fans with an IQ in double figures understand that still is much wrong at Charlton (15,000 boycotting fans, for starters) and there is still plenty of scope for those 2 arse holes to screw up what is going well.

15,000 boycotting Charlton fans v "the ITTV 6" ...including two from Wales & France who never go to our games <laugh>

I tried not to get too down after Plymouth, and I don't want to go overboard after yesterday. But that is a very tasty result. Rotgerham may not be in the mix at the end of the season (or ourselves come to that) but I doubt too many teams will win there, and it sounded like a real character performance. Happy today.

Let's see where we are on Thursday evening.

3 big tests this week regarding certain Belgian's credibility & intentions:

1. Konsa not sold.
2. No other first team regular sold.
3. We sign a striker - by which I mean a credible one for money, not a gangly 18 year old kid plucked out of Arsenal's youth team.

I'm of the view that leopards don't change their spots, & this pair are rotten to the core and highly likely to f*ck things up again soon.

It's what they do.

Well they are pretty good at managing expectations, with KR's help of course. When Lookman and Fox were sold there was hope that most of themoney would go on rebuilding the team, then half the money, then £2m, then £1m was quoted by the CEO, now zilch. Compare this to when Jenkinson was sold for £1.25m and SCP was handed the lot to rebuild the squad. KR is keeping the ship afloat ATM, and fair play to him, he has told us that "Novak will come good", but he's walking a tightrope.
 
I'm sincerely hoping that RD and KM don't screw this up, for the sake of our Club.

Getting promoted to the Championship this season gives Duchatelet his best chance of selling the Club at a price he can live with. So promotion is the fans' best option for finally being rid of him.
And we all want Charlton back in the Championship.

The one and only minor irritation of a successful promotion campaign this season will be having to put up with the apologists declaring they were right all the time and RD is really a wonderful owner who should be loved by all Charlton fans, and what a hero he is for beating the protests, etc.
However, that is a small price to pay for having our Club back where it belongs, so RD can finally sell it.

His CAFC experiment has been an expensive failure, whether or not we are promoted this season.
When he leaves there will be a mighty celebration among supporters - except for RD's little band of followers I guess.
