Tomorrow it's Rotherham in New York... against Richie Barker who knows all our tricks! awkward... Betting.... For me this has 1-1 written all over it but as that's a pathetic 6/1 .... my money will be going on 2-2 at 14's with Willy Hill... covering bets will be BTTS (yes) at 4/6 .... draw is available at 5/2 ..... any time goalscorer Kieffer Moore @ 13/8 or Ricky Holmes @ 23/10 or perhaps JFC at 9/2?? Last goalscorer could be an interesting one?.. The BFG to get a late equaliser from a corner at 25/1 (33/1 in some places) sounds value to me. AllHell
Tough game - but a good test to see how good our starting eleven actually are. I've been pretty distracted this week so haven't seen much of the build up - do we have a fully fit team?
Not me. I plan to be on the beach reading Simon Sharma' British History. I'll follow updates somewhere
Well done KR and the team A great away win after 11 minutes of second half stoppage time! I hope that does not mean there was a serious injury...
seems we controlled the game for the final 10 of the 90 and during the whole of the 26 minutes of extra time ..... very un-Charlton like that
Sounds like a good win today. The team is showing promising signs despite the idiot owner & CEO. Still wouldn't put it past the pair to f*ck things up again before transfer deadline day, either by asset stripping another player or not signing the striker we all know we need.
Very, very good result there. Can't say I was expecting a win let alone comfortably. Let's hope we can continue the good start by getting a few abled individuals in to see us to January. Where naturally we will see where we're at.
That result has probably put the kybosh on acquiring a striker before September, though I hope KR won't assume our current good form is going to last forever. As Royston says, our season now rests in the hands of Charlton's CEO She has five days and five hours to screw things up again.
