Yeah. Difficult to see how this is an improvement unless all of the major European leagues agree to do the same - but why would they?

Good quote. I've said similar in the past, leaving to play CL when the player, with a bit more effort, could earn it with the team he's already playing in. Some want it all handed to them on a plate.

 

That's why it's only a valid reason for players like Van Dijk who are moving from a club that will never play CL to one #confirmed in the CL

The problem is that the 'star' player always sees himself as being above his team mates. They haven't got the time to earn it as a collective it seems, they want the glory and the cash now.

 

But if Klopp simply won't play him then the discussion ends there.
