I felt the same until the inquest result two years ago. I had a Manc train driver in work who, despite being demolished in every discussion/argument we had on the subject (they really, really are ****ing ignorant you know - he still thinks Liverpool fans pushed a wall over at Heysel to get at the Italians and crushed them to death), still stubbornly hung on to the belief that even though it WAS the police who opened the gates, and even though it WAS the police who failed to block off the central pen (and believe me, that took ****ing years of argument to get through to him), it was still Liverpool fans fault for 'charging in' when they 'knew' there were fans inside being crushed... After the inquest, not just me but everyone in the messroom just sneers at him now when he raises the subject.
Coutinho wants clear-the-air talks with Liverpool as he begins to accept Barcelona move may be impossible Exclusive: The Reds will be told that Barca pressured the playmaker into asking for a move away from Anfield http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...move-impossible-news-hoffenheim-a7906221.html
scrubbing toilets seems to make sense to me. but seriously... when he pulled the manager stuff he broke the faith and will have to work to get a place. TBH its not like every **** who left dortmund for bayern didn't try something on at some point.
dear lurking saints fans: Leon osman is a bitter, not a glorious red. We have no pull there so don't blame us for his big mouth about your player.
9 days to go... how many non bids can we make in 9 days. brazil play Ecuador on sept 1st btw.. so coutinho will prob hop on an airplane and head for brazil on the 28th... 6 days away... not even seen in a game yet.
Ronnie Whelan having his say on our transfer window activity(or lack of it). 12:48 LIVERPOOL LOOK LIKE 'AMATEURS' Former Liverpool captain Ronnie Whelan has criticised the transfer business done by the club this summer. Writing in the Irish Independent, Whelan says: "Set against the business Manchester United and Manchester City have done, Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp look like amateurs. "Worse, Ronald Koeman and Everton have been spending like they’ve found a money tree. "He [Klopp] has some gaping holes in his squad and by the looks of things, no more money to spend unless they take Barcelona’s offer for Philippe Coutinho."
Why is it assumed that because you're not spending money, you don't have it? I guess we were going to give Leipzig an IOU.
I think we have limited money. We had planned to sell Sakho, Moreno, Markovic and some other wasters.
