I actually think Bobby would be a good Liverpool mod. He knows his football and knows a lot about Liverpool. As he's a great guy that would be fair any bias.

Fair comment saint. Page has very good reason to feel it more deeply than most of us and I have 2 mates, one physically affected the other mentally from the day so it's harder to just turn away. Speaking for myself - I don't know about Page - I feel the need to 'defend' their honour [if that makes any sense?]

I fully understand. I can only try to imagine how difficult it is if you were more directly affected than I was, so any reaction is understandable. Their use of such things to try and score points in football rivalry is indefensible.
I just think that by reacting you sometimes give the morons what they want, but you're well within your rights to respond in the way that you see fit.

Anyone expecting a transfer blitz will be sorely disappointed, FSG dont want to splash the cash and are gambling on our current squad to do the job this season.

Although I have to say that, providing there is no last minute climb-down, I'm made up with FSG this summer. Could almost be a turning point that they're now using the weight of FSG as a sporting, global colossus, and rightly it means in that they can stand up to even the biggest clubs in football when they are committed to doing so.
