Yeah.. Then there was the two sky lads that sky wanted rid off anyway who were fired for sexist comments when mikes were supposed to be off. They found their level on talksport. Hes old enough that he should have invesyed his wages in a pension so should not be affected if fired but you never know.. it was a incredibly stupid and worse racist comment.
I agree , I think you'll find he's not short of a million or two , no proof , just a gut feeling . That recent wind up ( Where Agnew and the TMS team got him ) , where he said he was laying on a charity do for 180 people in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance , makes me think he does not live in a small place .
Its obvious he was wrong and he rightly apologised. Unfortunately a few very emotional types couldn't handle it originally (not yourself).
Afridi went crazy in t20 quarters. 100 off 40 balls and it's his first ever t20 hundred! Crazy to think never scored one before. Top knock though, smashing Tahir around which takes some doing.
It's not easy get 100 in t20 though... firmino every ball you are trying to score big so any mistake and you are out. Miss the ball and you might get stumped. Every slog us a potential miss times ball that's easily caught. I mean that's 7 overs to get 100... it's a ferocious scoring rate
Not sure what firmino has to do with things Im not saying it's easy to get 100 but afridi is one of greats in short format, played all over the world and 250 games yet never scored 100.
Dunno wtf autocorrect changed to firmino Anyway tgere is a grand total of 26 centuries in international t20 up to July apparently. That's 23 players total who have done it. Highest was 154. To get one in 40 balls would seem fastest ever btw.
Not just talking international though talking all county games big bashes ipls etc. Been plenty of 100s around the world.
yeah but you might as well be talking about county fairs at that point. i'm pointing out the international game and how its not easy get a 100.
But afridi had never scored a t20 hundred even at the 'county fair' level as you put it. That's my point, 256 games, someone known as a star of t20 and never made 100 until yesterday.
Cos it is hard is my point. Unless you open its even harder. Most are in the 60 odd ball range. Thats 10 overs so you should have basically swung your bat at it 60 times and the bowler never once fooled you with pace or tbe ball never deviated off its line in the seam etc. T20 is a slogfest. Theres no decision so much as you are going to hammer that ball for 6. Carrying your bat in t20 by your logic should be easy too... for amazing players i stand to be corrected but i can only fi d 4 times that has occured either. However afridi's averages dont suggest he would be doing any of that tbh.
