Still operating on Cyprus time and only plan is to go in and catch up on work which I am delaying ATM - Jan making coffee and I am thoroughly enjoying the positivity on here :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thought the whole team played fantastically. Alioski and Saiz will rightly take most of the plaudits but... Ayling was Ayling - nuff said, I had almost forgotten how good Jansson really is, I hope we are not forced to play Pennington as part of his loan deal - that would be totally wrong to Cooper if he continues to play like yesterday. I thought Phillips and O'Kane played really well, constantly breaking things up in the middle and taking the game to Sunderland. Really delighted for Dallas, we may see a much better player under TC with a bit of licence to get forward.

Only (slight) negatives for me. I couldn't see what Ekuban brings but realise that was a tough game to make your league debut in (especially at short notice). Was also encouraged to see Billy's live account, certainly saw more in him than I did.

Thought Anita was very tidy but looked vulnerable in the air, especially in that first twenty minutes.

Roofe continues to frustrate - definitely some talent there but always looks like he is playing in a training match.
Agree with all this <ok>

I wasn't sure about Anita, I thought he did okay but wondered where he would fit in with a fully fit Berardi. For me, Ekuban will never make it as a loan striker, I watched it back a bit this morning as I too am stuck on Cyprus time and he really didn't add anything.

We have two weeks to sort out the striker and refreshing to hear the news that the club half expected Wood to do this so we are far more advanced in our striker search than we might have been.

I needed to read back this morning.due to me being on three oclock starts i fell asleep on the settee and woke up two hours later.i missed a good game and a win too.skulked off to bed and did not see the result till this morning.sick or what.

Jordan Rhodes is the latest apparently
Another I'm not sure about but he isnt a lead the line striker so needs a partner

Seems every footy pundit ripping into Wood for not being in the right frame if mind to play. Paul Ince said Leeds had looked after and nursed Wood but he threw it in their faces. He should have been proud to help the club who helped him. Lua Lua played for QPR even though his dad died yesterday.....

Listening to TC I don't believe he would have picked him anyhow. I know Wood issued the statement but TC suggested he wouldn't have been selected as he doesn't want players who are afraid to go for a ball or who are not 100% committed.

Money talks, at the start of his career he took immense stick from a section of our supporters, I'm as unhappy as the rest that it has turned out the way it is but very few players are ever loyal anymore.

Money has ruined the game, players are not interested in having the chance of being something big or gaining hero status at a club, it's all about the pay packet.

Ross was different, he held us to ransom with his contract season after season then moved for the big money and he does the same wherever he goes, I can't stand him. Wood did a job, he overcome a tricky start, he wants to move for PL money, I kind of understand him not wishing to risk being injured. I don't agree with it but I understand his thinking.

Yeah i can see your point of view.now lets go shopping with that money and get two strikers in.we sure are picking up some injuries this season.

I did actually predict a 2-0 win for us today. So happy I was right again.

Moving on, will Wood actually sign for Burnley, & if he does, who will we get in to replace him?
Hope you did that bet in the bookies Boggers..........<ok> I better not slag Wood off, just in case he doesn't sign for the twats:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Good game, good support and a good win for Leeds ..... looks like another promotion push, especially if the Woods money is used well.

Sunderland obviously need work but we knew that before the game, we also need some people in before the end of the window.

Good luck and see you in April ;)

Just make sure you take enough points of our promotion rivals to stop you getting relegated.
With millwall, Burton and Bolton in this division 30 points will keep you ip!
