Well you have Michael "the stats" Edwards and FSG who every year come out with money to spend but never manage to spend a good part of it. Is Jurgen really that stubborn? Even he looks pissed off. We had/have the money... Imagine sticking Carvalho next to Maitudi with Lallana as a midfield 3. Pretty much immediately that makes our defence better without even signing a CB. An outlay of 60mil for both too. Madness.
