Coutinho was also playing in a **** league in a **** Inter team and look at him now. Give him a chance, its only his second game for us
Sigurdsson covered more distance (433 kilometres) in the Premier league than any other player last season (BBC)
I like Gylfi but he's a player who is more big fish small pond - perfect for Everton. Good squad option for Liverpool.
Salah has been wasteful but he's provided us with more width, pace and his runs are excellent. His finishing will sharpen up but at least we're missing chances instead of not creating them at all.
Yeah He's got pace to burn and gets himself into good situations with intelligent runs, cut ins and movement, but he's not very clinical, that can be fixed though
His finishing is very rusty at the moment - he was very clinical in serie A over past couple of seasons. Think it will take a few games to sharpen up hopefully.
Well I think he'll obviously come good, he's a confident player and goals will come as they did in Italia
Barcelona could lose Ivan Rakitic to Liverpool as part of a deal for Philippe Coutinho, reports claim. Spanish outlet Diario Gol says the Croatia international is liked by Jurgen Klopp. And, consequently, the Reds want him included in any offer for Coutinho
Wish these Spic rags would stop trying to fool everyone including themselves that what barca really want is actually what Liverpool are asking for. Give us the bloody money (cash, not instalments), and if Rakitic is the best we can get (he isn't) we'll pay for him.
Wenger gives updates on Oxlade-Chamberlain & Sanchez Some updates from Arsene Wenger on Liverpool target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who he reckons can be persuaded to sign a new deal with Arsenal. Chelsea have been heavily linked and the Reds have kept an eye on developments. Wenger also confirmed that Alexis Sanchez will be fit to face Liverpool in two weeks Pulisic responds to Liverpool links Christian Pulisic has once again ruled out a move to Liverpool, saying he has no intention of leaving Dortmund this summer. The American hasn’t really been linked with the Reds this summer, but he was asked about interest by SPORTSBILD.
Three Southampton targets Conte is planning to transplant Southampton’s backline to Stamford Bridge. The Evening Standard link the Blues with Cedric Soares, Van Dijk and Ryan Bertrand. Cedric and Bertrand would provide Conte with extra cover in Chelsea’s wing-back roles. Currently Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses have little competition for their places in the Blues XI. When it comes to how much Chelsea would have to pay, Cedric is listed as a £15-£20m signing. The Evening Standard fail to mention how much Van Dijk and Bertrand would cost. Both players, however, are likely to be much pricier than the 25-year-old Portugal right-back.
