Hull and Easington
Can anyone please clarify when the Bolton home game actually is? I am sure I read that this game had been brought forward from Saturday 26th Aug to Friday 25th Aug with the premise being that it clashed with the Rugby Challenge Cup final (Who cares). However, both the Hull City and Bolton web sites and the BBC all have the game showing as the Saturday still. I am only asking because I have something going on which will make it difficult to attend on the Saturday (No, not the challenge cup final), Thanks.

Yes, I noticed today they still have the date as Saturday everywhere including our own fixture list, but it is the Friday as OLM said (hopefully!)

Please note that the Tigers' Sky Bet Championship home fixture with Bolton Wanderers has been brought forward and will now be played on Friday 25th August (KO 7.45pm).

This is to avoid a clash with the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final the following day, when Hull FC take on Wigan Warriors at Wembley, allowing fans to attend both games if they wish.

Ticket details for the home game with Bolton will be released in due course.

Thanks for the replies guys. I suppose I will just have to wait until nearer the time to be absolutely certain.
It is certain that the match is on the Friday night - they are already selling tickets. The issue is that the person in charge of the OWS fixture list appears incapable of catching up on news.

That's what happens when the Comms manager doubles up as looking after ticket sales...

It's not just the Hull City web site though. It's Bolton's and also the BBC that is why I asked the question. It is not at all clear. Even Facebook forums have questioned it. So much for better communication to the fans, It's just as ****e as ever.
