Don't worry remember Coutinho was an Inter Milan flop. Sometimes these players struggle at very big clubs like Barca.

Last I left it was 70 million plus Gomes and Rafinha.[/QUOTE]

FFS. :emoticon-0145-shake That's probably 70m Euros too. Give us the money, then we'll decide if we want to buy them.

My understanding is Klopp is a proud (stubborn) man who would happily get rid of Coutinho right now whereas the owners won't sell him (hence the strong statement).

Klopp has shown he's willing to cut off his nose to spite his face with the treatment of Sakho at the detriment to our defence, and I think he'd do the same with Coutinho.

Right now, I'm backing the owners to stay strong and keep Coutinho at all costs because we NEED him, and if you don't think that, watch yesterday's game again.

I was willing to give Edwards a chance but we need a strong DOF who will challenge Klopp. We should have had at least 2-3 new signings by now - now we still could before the end of the window but we could be out of the CL by that point.

I can't accept that we couldn't find other CB's - Spurs has the best defence and still spent £35m on a new defender. United had a good defence and signed Lindelof;
3 goals should have been enough to win the game. It was the defending that let us down.

Coutinho, being that superb defensive player he is, episode have stopped us conceding three goals for sure. Our are you saying weer should be scoring four a game?

And we have signed three players but a presume you mean two or three MORE?

Just hope that if we sell, for whatever price, and if this is being done over Jurgen's head that he walks, I really do. I'm no SOS. but that club will be far, far better off without FSG if they think the principle reason to get involved with football is to make profit on footballers.
Oh really donga, show us one that isn't these days. Who would you rather we have?
It seems clear to me that rather than them going over Klopp's head, he has washed his hands of the whole thing because he's pissed off with how Coutinho's camp have gone about this and their attempt to switch the blame onto him. I just think he's said to FSG something like "You decide, I've had it up to here with him".

That's a crazy valuation. Revenue is £300m with an operating loss of £20m if I recall on the last account. Where the hell did the pluck that number out of the air??

There's asset values, stadium values, and so forth and so on.

300million last year in revenue yes and growing.... stadium has been grown by 120mil in investment... 50million into training facilities.. players worth 100mil a pop like..

Liverpool should say to Coutinho and his agent if you want to go we want £120 million up front for you. go and sort it out and if you can't get it done then you stay. ball is in their court then to get it done.

Couts and his agent could probably cover that themselves for the time being, then get it back off Barca at a later date :emoticon-0164-cash:

i guess so. On that basis we should be worth £2.4 billion now because he was only with £50m last year!!

Are you trying to say I'd make that up? I mean things are bad at the moment, and I appreciate some don't like what I'm saying, but are you saying I'd just ****ing make it up? Tosser. :emoticon-0181-fubar
