    Ritchie's challenge wasn't far away from being another red. From behind, with absolutely no realistic possibility of winning the ball. And, in my my view, clear intent to injure the player given that it was Alli.

    Shelvey was clearly trying to disguise that as an accident, and it feels to me like those kind of incidents crept in a lot last season (replacing your standard headbutt I guess). I expect to see more things like that, maybe a bit further away from the ref next time though.
