I wonder if the Sun journo has put the words into his mouth, i.e. Are you committed to Spurs for the rest of your career or if another club came in offering to double your salary would you consider it? I don't believe what Sun Journos say. think we should take leaf out of the mousers book and ban the cnuts.
I was all for banning them before this. Loads of clubs are doing it and we should join them.

He doesn't deserve £65,000 a week. No1 does. However lesser players than Danny Rose are earning more than double that.

Why wouldn't he want to earn as much as possible?

On his past earnings and current earnings and sponsorship deal, bonuses and signing on fees etc he will earn over £30m as a minimum.
Why does he need or want more other than sheer greed?

I'm sure that we all want to earn as much as we can. That's not really the point though, is it?
He agreed to a new deal and then almost immediately got injured and hasn't played since.
If he wants more money, then he should negotiate another deal or put in a transfer request and join another club.
Chatting a load of crap to the worst paper in the country is a disrespectful and unprofessional way to go about things.

Compare and contrast with an interview that he did about Pochettino last September:

How does he expect the manager to react to his behaviour now?

If I were Pochettino I would sit him down and make him read that article out loud, then ask him, very calmly, to explain what the actual F is this new outburst about.

Some of the kids I work with are never told no and haven't been from a baby. As a baby and toddler they were given what they demanded to keep them quiet and now they are violent, verbally vile and out of control as they get older. They just expect to get their own way no matter how stupid and over the top their demands are.
That is what I see with premier league footballers.
Self entitlement gone mad and complete bollocks used to justify their ever increasing narcissistic demands.

PL footballers are generally ingrates with a inflated sense of
self-entitlement that sometimes borders on deluded.

No matter what, he can't be allowed to take a figurative dump on the living room carpet and be given exactly what he wants. He has to do what we want, even if that means he gets to play for the U23's all season or it'll be anarchy with every player balling their eyes out to Dear Deirdre about not being able to buy a Ferrari with their weekly wage.

Most footballers are small children between the ears. Mauricio Pochettino needs to tell him that he can speak to whoever he likes. He can claim poverty, slavery, homesickness or whatever he likes but he's going nowhere this summer and then nowhere next summer if he doesn't put in a proper effort during 2017/18 for Tottenham. Do that and keep your mouth shut and you can bugger off next summer to Blackburn Rovers Mk II or wherever. You get no respect from anyone by letting your children have the upper hand and you deserve the **** storm that you'll get from the spoilt gits.

I wouldn't be giving Rose any free passes for this article on the basis of his being misquoted / misrepresented. He knows what he said and why he said it. He's not a kid, FFS - and has previous for back-stabbing.
The very least he should manage is a public apology (not in the Sun, which as mentioned previously should be universally banned). If he cannot manage that then it's clear he wants out and he gets shifted ASAP, but on our terms...... and we add on the last 6 months medical bills to the transfer fee!!!

It is sheer greed but he's not the only footballer or human to have that mentality. I'm not saying it's right but it's how it is in football these days.

Luke Shaw is earning 70k at Utd and he's miles behind Danny Rose right now.

1. Nobody forced them to pay Shaw 70K/week for having achieved nothing.

2. Just because they were stupid enough to do so, does not mean everyone
else can afford to, or should.

Missing my point. Imagine you're Danny Rose and you're seeing lesser players earn more than you.

Like I said already I don't agree with how he's gone about it but I don't blame him for wanting more money.

Spurs need to either pay more or let players move on to where they can. Rose won't be the last player to leave because of this.

Maybe it's just me but if I was earning £65,000 per week plus millions in endorsements and interviews per year I wouldn't give a **** what others got paid.
The bloke is sorted for life. His Mrs, ex Mrs (if either are applicable) are sorted for life. And kids he has or will have are sorted for life. With that in mind none of the greed makes sense to me.

Me too but footballers and their egos are something else.

Danny Rose rightly considers himself one of the best left backs in the PL. Why wouldn't he want to be earning the same as the others.

We currently spend approx 65% - 70% of our income on wages. If we doubled our teams wage bill it would mean spending 130% - 140% of our income on wages. That would be beyond stupid
