Gini Hendo Cout is a pretty all round midfield 3. If Hendo learns to be disciplined in that DM role then he has the energy to get round on the cover and close people down like Mash used to for us. Gini does the box to box while Cout is the creativity.

We'll still short on depth yes but 1 signing has improved 2 areas of the pitch

Yes, Salah is an impressive signing so far but we are told that Hendo has an incurable long-standing injury, Sturridge is still here with
all his issues unsolved and Lallana is already out for months. Can't build a team around players who are not fit. Nothing has been done.
All we get is Klopp talking up some kids! I'm not sure even he believes it.

I can make it more pessimistic if you want...

Why can't we shift the crap from the squad, Sakho, Markovic, Moreno and Bogdan all still at the club despite being 'up for sale'. Whilst I don't think we need to sell these to buy. They are still costing wages

Nothing 'crap' about Sakho compared to Lovren and Klavan.

I should imagine he's 3rd choice at mo.

Firmino and if fit lol sturridge. Definitely ahead of Ings and origi which kind of makes them pointless to be honest. Although some will point to their age etc.

But if solanke is ahead of them already tells you all you need to know sadly.

3 weeks to go and hardly any players sold and main targets (aside from Salah) not signed, we lagging the competion somewhat. Anything (or nothing) could happen yet....

Don't see Couts going anywhere.......and I don't really understand why there are a few on here convinced he's off <confused>
 
Fair enough we have identified a couple players in Van Dijk and Keita, but surely we should have back up options. We have a desperately thin squad as it is and have even sold Stewart and Lucas, who played so many times he even had more assists than Pogba.

Should we beat Hoffenheim, we have even more games to play this season with essentially the same squad. We desperately need a CB, we desperately need a LB, we desperately need a CM and imo we need a new striker whilst shipping out Sturridge to someone. We will have the same issues as last season with a good first 11, when everyone is fit and then an absolute w@nk bench

Lucas Moura has been made available for transfer. I know we have Salah and Mane already for the wide spots, but there's enough games to happily rotate the three of them, could start one of them up top to give Firmino a rest or even move Firmino deeper and give Coutinho a rest.

Can't see us making a move though.

Owners, money too good for them to turn down.

I doubt coutinho is bothered either way, just whether it's his and klopp decision is why some feel it may happen.

I'm would think (and hope) he feels some sort of loyalty to LFC. And I would think FSG would understand the implications of selling
against Klopps (and the supporters) wishes. It ain't gonna happen guys <ok>

Signed Draxler in January and now Neymar, was inevitable he would be let go. We should be all over that tbh, great player.
