    You are absolutely right.

We have to push coutinho or firmino wide to cover salahnor mane but have strikers falling over themselves.. firmino, sturridge, origi, solanke and ings..

I would personally see two go ings and a long of origi tgen bringnin another winger.

Screenshot_20170806-151623.png Ok, this guy is a plank. But wtf is going on?

Official repeated response from LFC has been not for sale...repeated in these tweets. So...
    1) how has player terms been agreed.

    2) why can't we report Barca if our position is clear and they continue to come at us.

Something stinks to high heaven here....

    It's a tactic.

Nobody can prove there's any agreement or not so it is a tactic to publish that there is one... there might be there might not but it

    A) tells Barca fans their club is still powerful attraction.

    B) sows doubt in off fans about coutjnho.

The reason we don't report them is we are big boys unlike some clubs and play big boy games ;)

One of the beauties of Suarez, Studge and Sterling was that they had no 'positions'. A combination of three from Mane, Firmino, Salah, Coutinho, Studge (when fit), Solanke and Origi should work without any designated CF - provided we have a good enough three in midfield, and the front three are prepared to harry the opposition when we haven't got the ball.

Except Sturridge has lost any pace he once had (and breaks down anyway) and I really don't rate Origi - he tries to do more than he's capable of doing and often loses the ball. We also need Coutinho in midfield else we have no creativity there. I think Solanke might do well this year, but we're short if one of our starting 3 pick up an injury.

    Agree with this.
Ings will never have a Liverpool career
    Origi just isn't good enough
    Sturridge should be sold
Firmino is a fantastic player, but not really a striker
Solanke looks promising, but is a kid.

I think we desperately need a striker.

If klopp plays the 41212 again yes.

With salah and mane fit 433 makes sense but if its a choice of firmino wide and Sturridge central or both up i would rather both up.

Only if we shift the pile we have though.

Im not sure where firmino should play tbh. Central is best but he lacks outright pace.

Sturridge never plays a 'central' position as striker; he always plays more of a peripatetic role.

Yeah but it gets players closer to each other than demanding firmino on the left goes deep to aid the lb.

Need to re-read, I said midfield of Gini Hendo Cout is decent. Covers all basis if Hendo stays disciplined.

I'm assuming the reports of terms agreed are bullshit. Unless Barca have been told they can negotiate with him, then they would be in clear breach of the rules if they had magically agreed terms.
If there is evidence of tapping up then surely Uefa would act anyway, regardless of whether or not we go crying to them? If a copper sees an old lady being mugged in the street he doesn't need for her to report it before he can act.
I still think it's the Catalan press doing their best to destabilise the player, with Barca's tacit approval of course.
I've seen various reports saying: Klopp has sanctioned the move; Klopp has reiterated he's not for sale; Barca are nearing agreement; Barca have cooled on the whole idea, etc etc ad tedium.
Just take your pick as to which one you want to believe.

I get your point and agree to an extent.

Except voronin was old solanke isn't and can improve. And we didn't play bayern etc back then.

Voronin was brilliant when he had time to think.
