Either Klopp is really Stubborn or FSG are tight ****ers.

Frankly I'd guess both, either way its a complete ****ing mess and piratically leaves us out of a top4 finish before the season has even started.

Think this is more to do with Klopp than FSG as they have in previous windows proved they are willing to spend but Klopp seems to want only specific players & if they cannot be bought he will try to make do with what he has.
FSG may have tried to tighten the criteria i suppose but i have seen nothing to suggest money isn't available for Klopp to spend - though probably not the VVD & Keita fees without big sales.

 

Can't keep doing that though. We wanted Dahoud last summer but couldn't get him, now he's at Dortmund. We wanted Keita this summer but cant get him. Whats the chances he goes elsewhere?

 

We have barely improved. Would be massjve massive mistake. We need about 4 more signings.

 

couldn't agree more but from outside that is the impression you get re our transfer activity this summer.

 

If we go without injuries he could be proved right
- problem is we already have 2 injuries in pre season

 

our squad isn't much changed from last season but with more games & we all saw how the lack of depth hurt our campaign

 

Problem with that is we have Sturridge, Henderson, Matip, Lovren, Lallana and Ings. All of whom are going to be injured for large parts of the season, probably all at the same time.

 

Ridiculously naive to think that what wasn't good enough last season will be good enough this season. Massive f#ck up if it turns out that way. It might be a ploy to not sound desperate though. Who the f#ck knows what is going on!!

 

Genuinely think we are waiting for CL qualification or not, two plans that is why Klopp said would need to be patient.
I realise Klopp doesn't like the idea of players using CL as deciding factor but it could be far more pragmatic.
If you are a championship club trying to balance prem. and relegation you find yourself in the same position to where I think we are and you cut your cloth.
The CL money will make a difference and I think we are waiting for that before decisions are made
