fully agree but European clubs won't pay the wages ours do for good/decent players so nearly all stay here.
 
So I believe that Couthino will go.

I have little faith in our recruitment but they may well surprise me. I suspect that several very good players will be available after the moves of Neymar and eventually Mbappe.

PSG will need to offload. I fancy Draxler <ok>

Barca themselves are looking to offload Rafhina, A true central midfielder....know anyone in the market for one of these?? :bandit:

Madrid will need to offset buying Mbappe (assuming we don't buy him <laugh>) - Bale or Isco anyone?

That's without the possibility of VvD, Mor or the likes of Mayer, who we'd surely be in for.

And because the only thing that the rich like is more money, I would t be surprised to see Keita make a move still (it may not be to us) . £20m is a lot to lose for anyone but the filthy rich hate to lose it. We will see.

I expect a lot of big names to move in the last 3 weeks of the window as the poker hands get played. I just hope that we are at least a small part of it and that FSG and Edwards have not left us high and dry....

I'll say again, if (as looks likely) Coutinho goes, then I hope it's Klopp's decision and not FSG's - if it's the latter, then I hope Klopp walks and we walk with him until FSG are ousted, whatever happens to the club in the short term. Secondly, there really is no point selling at £100m when Barca have £200m in their pocket. As said, they utterly screwed us over Luis then said how much they respected us, whilst at the same time crowing that they'd paid £10m under the reported price. I wouldn't put if past FSG at all to say that they received £100m for him - then we find out from Wikileaks sometime later that it was really £70m. They are that bent.

Oh, and another thing - have the balls to make Ford put in a TR and ensure Barca pay the agent's fee. Some hope though - we just know that FSG are eyeing up £80m + and have the scouts on five no-mark teenagers across Europe at @£15m each thinking that one of them might turn into another Coutinho, when the reaility is they'll be five Markovichs.

If LFC sell Couthinho they won't see a penny more off me until FSG **** off back to Boston.

The player(apparently)agreed terms with Barca even before they made an official bid or got permission to talk to our player, instead of selling FSG should be on the blower to Uefa about him being tapped up.<grr>

Do you seriously think Uefa would/could do anything about it? Effectively there are no rules where some clubs are concerned.
