Just had to call AA out. Bloody alternators broke meaning the battery's been drained to literally ****all.

New AA approved battery is £144... **** that!

Drove to Halfords (he got it started) with the AA guy following me (just incase). Cheapest battery? £125!

AA guy becomes a legend and pulls out a Halfords card...20% off!

Just got to seek a new alternator tomorrow now [HASHTAG]#whowantsmoneyanyway[/HASHTAG]

My wife gets a new battery for her car every year... For free... Something about her car kills batteries, (her car has lots of issues.) they never last long enough to last beyond the warranty.

Thats nothing. My fuel injector went, nearly £500 in total to get new part and fit it, plus I had to get rac to come out and pick me up and pay for the callout as I wasn't a member - £80

Not far off...

New battery = £100
New alternator fitted = £280
Day off work = only about three days left until April!

Alternator sorted. Got front discs and pads done at the same time.

Need a new spring on back now though :(
