What is this new "Sky Sports Premier League" Channel? Is this now there they will play all the old Premiership classics from the past instead of the other channels? Or will this be a channel that shows more live Premiership games when the season starts?

Yes yet another rip off

I can't believe how baggy football shirts use to be. Even in 2002! It feels like I'm watching 80's-90's football. Baggy Kit, no HD. Makes it feel so long ago.

I've just seen Rooney's first goal for Everton. I am really looking forward to watching his first return goal at Everton. I hope he gets treated better there.

Yeah the poor soul had to threaten to leave a few times just to get his measly £260k a week.
Shameful treatment from Man United.<laugh>

The last part from Connor Southwell on MFW and take time to read Martin Penney's comment - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-9-the-old-style-striker-a-thing-of-the-past/
It's going to be an interesting season and opposing managers are going to have to 'earn their corn' in trying to figure out DF's tactics. I'm HOPEFUL that we'll be in or near the play-off places next May.
An update from JM - “I’m playing a bit of a deeper role at the moment, more of a number eight,” Maddison explained. “But the boss likes to call it a half position, where I’m a little bit deeper and we have a holding midfielder with two in front, which is something different to what I’ve done before.
“I’ve normally been based as a number 10 type player but it means I can build the game from deeper and take a lot more touches. I’m constantly learning, it’s a new position out of possession but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.”
I said a few weeks ago that he was being coached for that role!!! <ok>

I can see him playing Howson's role. [HASHTAG]#watchthisspace[/HASHTAG]

As are we all mate.I'm still feeling good about this season, far more so than I would have before the changes in personnel.

May be misplaced (wouldn't be the first time!), but it's definitely going to be interesting, and that has to be good.

Two new CB''s could define our season. If they adapt to the Championship I believe we have enough creativity further forward to mount a serious challenge. I am very happy that JM is being played a little deeper, he is, potentially, a superb playmaker. The addition of Vrancic and Reed will change our creativity in midfield as well. All in all, I am feeling very positive for this season.

Ahem... Responding to comments about how we can replace Howson
I think we've already got him in the fold. I reckon Maddison will be a regular CM by the middle of this season coming.
:emoticon-0148-yes:

Celtic can walk everything in Scotland, where they have a financial strangle hold. Not so easy when they have to play a half decent (probably not even that) team from Europe.

0-0 at home to Rosenborg is pretty poor.
