Jamie Carragher was a boyhood Everton fan.
Redknapp was an Arsenal fan.
Peter Crouch is a QPR fan.
I really don't care what most neutrals think, either.
They didn't expect us to get 4th when we did (neither did I), they didn't expect Liverpool to go from 2nd to 7th and they didn't predict West Ham's relegation.
You didn't say 'most neutrals believe', anyway.
You said that Liverpool would finish above Spurs 'without question'.
Can you please stop disrupting threads on here with your paranoid ramblings now?

]I love how Spurs are the only team in the top 6 who have a settled squad[/B] and manager for the last 2 years and yet still everyone has written us off before we've played a game.
Chelsea have a new manager who is completely untested and hardly impressed against Stoke.
Liverpool have a number of new unsettled players, none of whom are used to being near the top of the table, and an overrated manager.
City may have demolished Swansea but there are bound to be a few problems when their egos begin to clash in about a weeks time.
Arsenal have lost their key player and looking at losing another one, although I think they'll probably be better than many are expecting them to be.
United are the only team that anyone can realistically have any confidence in this season, everyone else is completely unpredictable.

And then goes on to not explain whyBut does go on to add:

Completely wrong IMO.
You have a manager that is clearly unhappy with the personnel at the squad, your best player wants to join one of your biggest rivals and you have a defence and front line that is nowhere near settled nor good enough for this level. I would argue there couldn't be a more unsettled squad than Spurs at the moment and I will explain why.
United - For me are the most settled, new players have integrated perfectly and they have the best manager in the league, they are a near certainty to finish top 2/top 3 at worst. How you can say they are unsettled is beyond me, every player there wants to be at that club and work for the team
Any rational person would accept that the top 3 will almost certainly consist of City, Chelsea and United with Liverpool and Arsenal battling it out for the 4th spot![]()
Alex Ferguson has gone on record a number of times as saying Tottenham are contenders for the title. I dont believe this personally, but I'd be more inclined to listen to what he says than the clueless and biased twirps who write for the national media.
Re United: Read what I wrote again - I wrote practically the opposite of what you claim I wrote.
Presumably by 'rational' you mean people who get suckered into the nonsense that is written posted by the populist media in order to make money?
SAF has said that any of the top six can win the title, but none of us can predict the variables such as form, injuries, luck etc. which can be decisive.
What Utd have that the other five presently don't have is the ability to consistently get results even when below par.

Apart from when they report that Modric is unhappy at Spurs and want's to join Chelsea
An excellent example of selective deafness ....

Redknapp has stated that we simply can't sell Modric, as it would send out completely the wrong message and we'd struggle to replace him.
What part of that convinced you that he wanted him to go, DL?
Levy hasn't done a single thing wrong.
Chelsea not only have, but they also have a track record for it.
Awful bias, frankly.

Yes he has, Levy went back on an agreement he had with the player, in my eyes that is wrong.
Chelsea bid for the player, that is all we have done, the irony of you saying I am biased![]()

For what it's worth I wholeheartedly respect and understand Levy's stance on the situation. Modric is the engine of your team and without him you'd struggle to get top 6 IMO
I don't think Harry wants Modric to leave of course he doesn't, but HR is hardly the epitomy of loyalty and can understand why the lure of Champions League Football and Higher wages would be tempting for Luka, he's said it on record numerous times. If Modric isn't 100% focused on Spurs, then it will affect the team, he can't afford that
