I wasn't disrupting the thread only every time I come on here for discussion, that EnSoup guy or whatever his name is just jumps on my back, people are entitled to their opinions
Completely wrong IMO. You have a manager that is clearly unhappy with the personnel at the squad, your best player wants to join one of your biggest rivals and you have a defence and front line that is nowhere near settled nor good enough for this level. I would argue there couldn't be a more unsettled squad than Spurs at the moment and I will explain why. United - For me are the most settled, new players have integrated perfectly and they have the best manager in the league, they are a near certainty to finish top 2/top 3 at worst. How you can say they are unsettled is beyond me, every player there wants to be at that club and work for the team City - I'd same the same as above only the fact they have a manager that is only above average IMO Chelsea - New ideas, new manager, that will take time to get across but these players have been together for years, even at the tender age of 33, Drogba is head and shoulders above any striker outside the top 3 teams in England. We should have beaten Stoke but were incredibly unlucky. There are a couple of issues with the starting XI etc and I don't think our squad is fully settled yet. Arsenal - Once Nasri is gone (and from what I understand he will be by Friday) Arsene can spend some money that will secure top 4 for the club, it will be difficult without Cesc and Nasri for sure, but now every player wants to be there, the squad will finally be settled. Liverpool will take time to gel as well. Wenger as a manager is head and shoulders above Dalglish and Redknapp which is probably the only reason why Arsenal will get top 4. Any rational person would accept that the top 3 will almost certainly consist of City, Chelsea and United with Liverpool and Arsenal battling it out for the 4th spot
Re United: Read what I wrote again - I wrote practically the opposite of what you claim I wrote. Presumably by 'rational' you mean people who get suckered into the nonsense that is written posted by the populist media in order to make money?
Alex Ferguson has gone on record a number of times as saying Tottenham are contenders for the title. I dont believe this personally, but I'd be more inclined to listen to what he says than the clueless and biased twirps who write for the national media.
people are entitled to their opinions ---------------------------------- Very true...however **** they are!
You do realise that a huge percentage of main media journo's are Spurs, West Ham and United fans don't you?
I don't listen to the media. Full of Spurs and West Ham lovers who seem to write nothing but trash about other clubs, primarily Chelsea, Millwall and Arsenal
Agreed, in addition to that squad depth and team philosophy Because of the depth of your squad it is easy to make changes to personnel and formation and reap the benefits. Chelsea for instance don't have the players to play 4-4-2 in the same way that Spurs don't have the players to play 4-5-1. United have always had wide players which gives them better options, teams have sussed that you can stop teams like Chelsea and Liverpool (who are quite static in their build up) if you just show them through the middle. If we can't penetrate teams through the middle, we ain't socring, that is why the club is making every effort to try and sign wide players as we used to have with Robben and Duff
I meant generally speaking I personally will not believe a transfer deal until it's on the club website or at least the BBC. I only listen to directly what comes out of managers mouths which is why I believe 'Arry is happy for Modric to go and spend the funds where as Levy isn't so they are at loggerheads. It's Levy that has been the real idiot in this saga not Modric, not Redknapp, not Terry, not Chelsea FC
DL is a tiresome WUM, he doesn't have a point, he never does. Coming here to pick up on everytime he thinks we're being mean to his club, not to debate but just to be contraversial or pick a fight. If he carries on like this can we get him banned because it's getting bloody boring?
Redknapp has stated that we simply can't sell Modric, as it would send out completely the wrong message and we'd struggle to replace him. What part of that convinced you that he wanted him to go, DL? Levy hasn't done a single thing wrong. Chelsea not only have, but they also have a track record for it. Awful bias, frankly.

For what it's worth I wholeheartedly respect and understand Levy's stance on the situation. Modric is the engine of your team and without him you'd struggle to get top 6 IMO I don't think Harry wants Modric to leave of course he doesn't, but HR is hardly the epitomy of loyalty and can understand why the lure of Champions League Football and Higher wages would be tempting for Luka, he's said it on record numerous times. If Modric isn't 100% focused on Spurs, then it will affect the team, he can't afford that Yes he has, Levy went back on an agreement he had with the player, in my eyes that is wrong. Chelsea bid for the player, that is all we have done, the irony of you saying I am biased
No, he didn't. Levy agreed that Modric could go, if a deal that was agreeable to all parties was reached, according to the player. Even if that's true, no agreement has been reached. Clearly not going back on his word, even if what Modric has said is true. Chelsea bid for the player, who seemed to be very aware of that bid, Chelsea's aims, their new manager's opinion of him and how he'd get on there, despite not talking to them. Given Chelsea's record in this area, it's hardly a massive leap of logic, is it, DL?
What agreement? Modric is quoted as saying their was gentleman's agreement, Levy said there was no such thing. The press have speculated what the agreement was and whether it was broken but there's still no evidence of it.
Chelsea had a bid rejected, then made it public that they'd had a bid rejected in order to stir up the media. That in my opinion is unacceptable - you don't see any other clubs publicising their rejected bids.
