How do these clubs manage FFP? Having a rich owner should be diluted under the rules.

Parachute payments. But a big gamble should the wheels come off.
 
The Club, the manager and the player have all said he's remaining a city player this season so unless Brighton fancy seriously breaking the bank i'm not worried
 
I bet there is. It would be very unusual these days if a player's agent didn't insist on it.
