I don't believe we do/ did. Many still are talking of capability of the squad to get promotion. Its NOT the owner's target, so won't happen. I hope we perennially avoid relegation until new owners come along. Wonder if even that is in their business plan/ aspiration ? We wont be getting back in Premier League under Allams. I can live with that, worst part for me is that we wont be Yorkshire's No 1 after 10 (?) unbroken years.

Think leeds finished above us once about five or six years ago. But that's it.

Are you sure? Since 2007, we've either been in premier or got promotion apart from the season after our first relegation and I'm sure they were in div 3 (whatever it is called) that season?? Even the season before our first promotion, we avoided relegation to div 3 at their expense.

I'm pretty sure in 10/11 they finished above us. I was of the same opinion and was **** talking a leeds supporter but he called me out on the one season they finished higher.

I think the Allams will want to get their money back then they will think about selling

Pedant! I'm sure many play a forward dropping back into midfield, but 'officially' it's 5 in midfield.
Always puzzles me when I first got into football (was too young to notice at the time) it was 2 3 5. Englands world cup team is always listed as that, as is City's dream team of that era, but every game would have been 12 all if they played that.

we played a midfielder in midfield
that is not a 3-5-2
it's not like Quinn was playing "off" Fryatt

I fear by the time they sell, we will be in the lower leagues and will take years to recover from (took us 100 years last time). if/ when Leeds do get promoted, I think they will become established.

I was just making a different point
it's laughable that a respected manager "doesn't understand" a football system
I think a lot of managers don't seem to put enough effort into playing the right players in a formation and style that suits the players though
they want to just get the best players on the pitch and quite often seem to let them do what they want
Marco Silver wasn't like that until he seemed to give up near the end of last season
