The Tigers have strengthened their squad with the arrival of Kevin Stewart from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.
Stewart, who flew out to the Tigers’ training base in Portugal last night, has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old made 20 appearances for Liverpool - 11 of which came in the Premier League - after arriving at Anfield from Tottenham in the summer of 2014 and also boasts further first team experience from loan spells at Crewe Alexandra, Cheltenham Town, Burton Albion and Swindon Town.
The central midfielder will be available for selection in tomorrow night’s pre-season friendly with Benfica at the Estadio Algarve.
Speaking after completing his move to the Tigers, Stewart said: “I’m delighted to sign for the club, I can’t wait to get started and get my boots on.
“It’s an exciting move for me and I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
To quote my wife;
"Who've we signed him from? Hollyoaks?"
