He certainly never overpaid for Maguire but a lot of people said he did for Livermore and everyone wanted rid of him after his problems. We paid over the odds for Mason according to most, too many fans just moan for the sake of it. My opinion is nobody should have been sold in January if Silva wasn't going to remain in charge this season. He sanctioned the sale of Livermore and Snodgrass because of the role they would have under him, then he ****s off at the end of the season anyway. We have quite a few midfielders, so it's not the end of the world. We desperately need defenders and in my opinion at least 1 or 2 quality strikers.
