Problem is you are trying to condone Blair's action by the historical take of the area.
But the living are not responsible for what happened a 100 years ago but we are certainly still accountable for Blair's actions.
If we do nothing, then in another century historians will be using your very same arguments when the next tin pot premier comes along.
Don't blame Tony for all the deaths his decisions cost but blame Bin Laden and the country of Afghanistan for the perceived decisions he made.

But I am trying to make two points here;
1) Tony Blair is not the root cause of the desperate state of the Middle East, and the simplistic mindset that just looks for scapegoats serves no purpose other than giving nuggets like Drunknuts and Simple Ciaran something to throw their own faeces at.
2) The problems in the region are not going to go away if we turn our backs on the region now.

Even if I was anti Brexit he would be the last mouth piece I would want representing me, in fact the best political spin would be for remoaners to denounce him as a spokes person, I actually might then give them some respect.

Accepted, Blair was not the root cause, but he is a branch of it. So why are remainers accepting it is ok for him to stand on a soap box in their name?
Surely it is more damaging to the remainers cause!
