They were harbouring Bin Laden. They were given the opportunity to give him up, but they declined. So the music banning, public beheading, university closing, women oppressing savages got kicked the **** out, Bin Laden got slotted, everybody won. Had that been the extent of US and UK overseas adventures post 9/11, it would have been a good result all round. As I've already stated, Iraq was a disaster.
