The taliban had Afghanistan under control .. We created Isis by our actions ... If we hadn't intervened by starting gulf war 2 then the Region would be far more stable ... It's not our job to deal with them
Harsh to say but it isn't in the Anglos mindset to mind their own business, especially where money is involved You can see it in Archers post, he genuinely doesn't grasp it. It was a long time in the making The only **** I heard of growing up was the PLO in Palestine. And who caused that
Absolutely Archers, I don't disagree with your historian take but at least the area was reasonably calm as it could be. Maybe in 100 years then Blair's work maybe looked on differently if it becomes a haven of peace, but here and now and without the aid of hindsight he should be charged with war crimes. Also they returned Saddam to a country that they well knew would execute him, yet Blair still prances about on UK main stream TV, in my book that ain't right. Just comes across to me as the double standards of left wing politics. Brexit or not, Blair can never be the voice of the people, so why is someone not shutting him up!
They were harbouring Bin Laden. They were given the opportunity to give him up, but they declined. So the music banning, public beheading, university closing, women oppressing savages got kicked the **** out, Bin Laden got slotted, everybody won. Had that been the extent of US and UK overseas adventures post 9/11, it would have been a good result all round. As I've already stated, Iraq was a disaster.
Got as far as they were harbouring Bin Laden. So what? So were Pakistan, or are they the right kind of Muslim country?
Is it all about numbers then? How many innocent civilian deaths was Gerry Adams personally responsible for? Bearing in mind he probably primed some of the bombs himself.
Dunno m8, Gerry probably wouldn't know how to prime a bomb but that's beside the point. How many people was Hitler personally responsible for killing?
Beginning when? During the Soviet occupation? The Moslem Brotherhood, which began in Egypt in 1928? The first Afghan War, almost 100 years before that? You think all this **** just goes away if we return to our own borders? The first Paris Metro bombings occurred in 1995 ffs.
Have a look at what France done in Northern Africa, puts a bomb in a metro station into a bit of perspective.
No, they are ****s too, but they are the American's ****s, for the moment. Welcome to the real world, where things aren't simple.
And yet you think Tony Blair is personally responsible for the state of the Middle East. Is he French now?
Brainwashed ****ing idiot ^^^ Nearly all of the so called hijackers were Saudis not one Afghan or Iraqi amongst them.
What? I'm saying Tony Blair is responsible for untold deaths in Iraq for starters. What's that got to do with French colonialism I don't know.
Tony sold the lie that Saddam had WMD's in order to Invade multiple countries killing lots and lots of innocent people. They admitted that it was bullshit since you thick ****.
Go back and read at least a bit of the thread before diving in with both feet. Bin Laden was being harboured by the Taliban, their presence in Afghan created a geographical base for a world wide terror campaign. Their refusal to give up Bin Laden was the reason for the United Nations sanctioned invasion of Afghan. Just stick to posting post some conspiracy bollocks about towers and ****. The actual history of the Middle East is beyond you.
