Oh ffs, Went for a walk to Three Cliffs thinking that all things 'Siggy' would be sorted by the time I got back. Looks like its going to be another wasted day tomorrow. Damn them Vikings and their Sagas.

and here's a Viking conspiracy theory saga I got from a stranger at Three Cliffs..... .........where I met an Urban Guerilla on my stroll to the beach. An underground, yet avid, fan of our little club. Its OK nobody saw our clandestine meeting where he revealed this conspiracy theory to me. His theory is based on.... "...what I've (not me, he) been told by someone I knows, who's in the know, in-side the club like" nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Leaning closer he whispered through the breeze that, according to his spy "Siggy was very put out when the club didn't put a 'Not for sale' sign around his neck showing that they considered him indespensible to us. Instead they placed a valuation around his neck, a big one of £50m and threw him to the dogs" The valuation was a 'For sale' sign which made him centre of attention for any tom dick or harry journo who wanted to laugh at him because of the huge price tag. It also meant that as far as the owners were concerned Siggy was just another piece of meat with a price. So Siggy no likey this and being a private type and all, felt slightly betrayed by the owners who had exposed him to ridicule and inspection. It brought Siggys future with the club and his security into question because he felt that he was indispensable to the club and the owners would protect him by draping a flag reading 'Not for sale' around Siggy and his brand, but they didn't, effectively putting him on sale by trial. Exposed he felt that his future with us wasn't as secure as he'd thought and its this that's spun him out and put him of going on tour to the states. He thought the owners had let him down buy giving him a value to be haggled over and such a big price tag where he'd be publicly ridiculed in the press. Shhhhh!, there's more, come here, hunker up. Clement is allegedly apoplectic about what's happened and about how his prize asset has been treated. He, allegedly, is spitting flames about it because he feels he's been let down too. He too thought that Siggy was an indispensable and vital part of his plans for next season. He thought that he, Siggy and the Squad would just go quietly about their business and get on with pre-season but this became impossible when the new owners effectively put Siggy up for sale. He's not happy too that the owners have thrown Siggy, a very private individual remember, into an open arena to be publicly prodded poked and probed by the press and ridiculed by fans due to the size of the valuation on is head. Seems like there's no return for Siggy now, his mind has been made up and he's dead set on leaving due to the alleged lack of consideration and foresight shown by the American owners. Both Siggy and it is said, now believe that the owners have shown little understanding of the business of football and that they've fekked things up by being too brash and ignorant of the nuances of how football works in the UK. Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, what you think then chaps, cock up, conspiracy or just a load of old bollox???? Just a theory remember, from a fan I met walking his dogs on the beach. The same fan who, after telling his tale mysteriously disappeared as he walked into the mist brushing off the broiling waves to leave nothing but diminishing barks of his dogs which slowly melted away into the sounds of the sea.
If you were paid £10 an hour by Tom but Dick offered you £50 an hour to do the exact same job, you telling me you wouldn't take Dicks offer?
Agree. To him it's a job, he has every right to maxamise his financial potential. You would, I would, and so would everyone else on here.
Gylfi brings attack, defence and workrate. Fer is not and will not be good enough to replace Gylfi. Our revival under Clement also coincided with Fer being a sub.
