It seems a move for Oliveira is unlikely to materialise however with Norwich boss Daniel Farke reluctant to sell and the Canaries not shy of money themselves, and Jaap Stam may have to turn his attentions elsewhere to acquire a new man up top. By StantonDaily The Dutchman may consider turning his attentions down the M4 to west London, and QPR striker Idrissa Sylla. The Guinea international impressed last year in a struggling R’s side, and could seek a move away from Loftus Road this summer if another side comes calling. Sylla only joined the club last summer from Belgian giants Anderlecht, but an acceptable offer could be enough to convince Ian Holloway to part with the forward. At the age of 26, Sylla is entering the peak years of his career, and may feel a move to the top half of the division is what he needs to realise his Premier League dream. Sylla would cost a fraction of the fee Reading would part with to sign Oliveira, and in the right team, could score a lot of goals.
Depressingly credible, although I couldn't really care less if we keep Sylla or any of the others for that matter.
He's our best, and possibly only, hope of a QPR playing getting vaguely close to 20 goals next season.
Funnily when they got to the Prem (the first time) there was a lot about but once they went down the usual Arsenal/Spurs/Scum/Utd shirts were out again. After a bit of time here you will realise what a muppet club it is.
