We need - even more, to hold on for top dollar for Howson and Murphy (if he goes) as we'll now need another midfielder to cover Thompson for most if not all of next season
Seriously bad news - he was likely to be a regular starter imo. Bad luck for him - wishing him a speedy recovery.
Although I didn't like him when we had him on loan and was pretty pissed off when we actually bought him, I thought last season he really showed his value and now I think we will miss him.
Need to see how Reed and Vrancic slot in and play before lamenting Dorrans departure too much, I'd suggest? Hopefully they'll have better fortune than he did with injuries, too

Shame it is to a serious rival in our division - he would have made a cracking addition for newly promoted Huddersfield !!!
Each time we were relegated I was pleasantly suprised that we managed to keep hold of Howson. Real shame to lose him, easily our most consistent performer over the past 5 years. Good luck to him!

I have seen reports that without him we will have a more balanced midfield, not that I know anything about that, but if true, it could be good business all round!
