The new guy will be fully aware of english based players and what a club with our aspirations and squad needs, so after meeting with slutsky will probably of updated him
Wouldnt suprise me if slutsky knows of him, he has spent 5 months here before taking the city job, in that time watching various championship and league one games hes not as fresh to english football as you think
He's apparently been watching every Premier League and Championship game he could since Christmas, I'd be surprised if he's not aware of the player who was ranked the fourth best defender in the Championship last season.
