I see we've snapped up another young talent - Henry Onyekuru, top scorer in Belgium last year at 19. We're loaning him out to Anderlecht for the seasonIt's soooo big it has it own weather system.

How do you even come to that conclusion? I'm interested not wumming so what is it that makes him a "more complete footballer" in your opinion?
TouchéJust my own observations from what i've witnessed of the two.

Hey PJS, are you getting worried about our bet now that we have got MP2 managing us?...![]()
According to the Spanish experts he is Pochettino mk 2 so we can expect to have two really good seasons before he ****s off somewhere else!...![]()
Dunno mate, might be.Isn't that something to do with work permit issues? Even then it's great to see we have a pipeline that can feed talent into the first team squad that is being supplemented with wise buys.
Do you ever actually watch football. you know....with your eyes?
As I saw all 3 of the players you've brought up in the flesh last season, and Maguire was the worst of the 3 imo. He's cumbersome and doesn't read the game anywhere near as well as Keane, his size gives him an aerial advantage as does his medicine ball head, but that's about it. Ask yourself why Steve Bruce - a quality CB - never really fancied him, and he was never a guaranteed starter under him.......

Yeah saw us play against all of them and Keane and Gibson were both mugged by Slimani who bagged a brace against both. He made them look like schoolboys. Maguire was excellent against us even though they lost 3-1. So yeah I watch plenty of football with my own eyes, never miss a game.

Well why are you saying the club is having to pay so much more?
If the club were happy to pay £11m for Lookman and £30m for Pickford, I don't think £5m more for Keane over Maguire potentially is an issue. Walsh knows our style, yet he went for Keane?
Because you're going to pay at least £25m and we didn't pay £17m, it's £12m with add-ons so "potentially" £17m so you're paying more than double and he's not worth more than double, if anything at all. I don't see any difference in value between the three.
Because of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante people forget about all the crap that Walsh brought to the club too. For the few gems there have been more dude. Inler, Hernandez, Mendy, Benalouane, Musa, Zieler and Amartey. Cost us £50m and none of them are good enough to be starting and I'd be surprised if the ones still here will be in the squad next season. So don't be expecting every signing to be spot on because it won't be.
We bid for Keane last season but didn't think he was worth going in for again, why is that? We've been watching Maguire since Sheff Utd and Keane since he was with us but we went for Maguire because he's the better, cheaper option so it makes more sense.
****ing lol.
But anyway let's draw a line under it, Keane is a good player and at £25m represents far better value for money than Stones. It also makes sense for him to move to Everton because he gets to stay in the north west.
I think you overestimate how good Keane is in comparison to Maguire but hey it's your opinion, I'm just of the opinion that he's not any better and we got a bargain because that's what we do.
So let's just be happy that we're both signing two of the best English centre halves for relatively peanuts and we're both looking at very bright futures.
If I were you guys though I'd be a lot more concerned about replacing Lukaku than worrying about keepers, defenders and midfielders. Niang and Sandro aren't the answer and if Worthington's scouting record with Hernandez is anything to go by, I wouldn't be holding out much hope.
Reality is Lukaku can only be replaced by someone like Lukaku and he's going to cost a fortune and realistically, Everton can't attract or afford that calibre of player. We're talking Lacazette or Aubeyamang players of that calibre who cost a mint and are out of your league.
Without his goals last season you'd have been lower half with Barkley the next highest on only 5 and only 21 between the six after Lukaku, that would concern me immensely but none of you seem worried about losing the only guy who scores goals for you.
