"Leonid Slutsky says he is very proud to be the new Head Coach of Hull City and is looking forward to the challenge of trying to guide the Tigers back to the Premier League."

When Slutsky actually said:

“I am very proud to be the Head Coach of this football club and this is a serious challenge for me,” said Slutsky.

So they paraphrased and used our name.

Excellent, let's hope it signals a change approach, though there's a hell of a long way to go and it's fairly pointless if they don't change the names on the channels the output is published on.

He also did say Hull City in his first interview that was shown on Sky Sports, it was almost the very first thing he said.

So it looks like a group of actual footballing people are being positioned to run the club, while the Allams, and Ehab, take more of a backseat to concentrate on their main source of income, i.e. marine generators.

Recent communications have used the words Hull and City together.

Seems to be some money will be made available to strengthen the squad.

And we have people complaining?

<laugh>

Guaranteed if they introduced concessions again, we'd have people complaining they're now paying more.

You seriously can't win with our support. No wonder any local millionaires always steer well clear.

Maybe the absolute ****s should reinstate concessions rather than driving young and old supporters away, apologise over their vile conduct regarding Airco and put it right and officially state our name as Hull City, along with changing all the social media back and fixing the badge.

Nevermind the **** with the away supporters initiative, and just generally dripping with contempt with every press release.

The Allams and especially Ehab are odious ****s.

"Oh they called us by our name once and have appointed a manager" - whoop di ****ing do. **** em.

We haven't even signed any players yet Happy , I think most sensible people are waiting to see what happens

The complaints are about concessions etc. which obviously don't bother you , we know

You clearly do not know.

They do bother me.

I've stated that numerous times.

We appointed a manager quicker than was forecast by the doomsayers. Money is being made available. Players will be being looked at. Its also a balance of who we lose and who needs to be replaced.

Newsflash, this isn't FIFA or FM games.

The only bit that is right in your post is that the sensible people are waiting to see what happens. The rest are, as usual, whinging their tits off and making wrong accusations.

Nice try, but not really accurate...

Number of mentions of Hull City in the Stulsky appointment release - 0.

Number of mentions of Hull City in the Pennock appointment release - 0.

Number of players who've gone so far this summer - 10 (shortly to become 12)

Number of players who've arrived so far this summer - 0.

I fully expect us to sign players ahead of next season, though I hope we start doing so quickly before players start seeing us as a weak option and I don't expect the club to start calling us Hull City, because Ehab, fundamentally, remains a twat.
That's not even a nice try, and is hugely inaccurate.

As has been pointed out, it might just be a trickle but yes they are using Hull City.

Not sure why you've listed the number of ins and outs. Usual diversionary tactics I guess.

They can bring back consessions and call us Hull City, they can give me a free lifetime pass if they want. I'll still call them ****.

I'll be only be happy when they **** off

I would have thought that we were their main source of income if that six million dividend story is true

Reasonable
Hopefully your optimism will turn out to be correct
It's understandable though that others less optimistic are waiting for further evidence

Despite my reservations about Ehab's just dumping his yes people all over the place, I think we all need to start looking at the positives & this is a pretty good start.

I agree, although still early days.

LS has connections with CFC and Russia.
WJ with ManU
Pennick to the young guns - he will have watched a good many beyond our ken.

I will criticise when due, but let's all take a timeout and let matters proceed. It might be that we are building that static backup team with a sackable head coach. Interesting times.

I'd be fine if they were just waiting. Instead, they're making **** up, and generally being miserable moany ****s.

Actually moaning about stuff that hasn't happened, or is purely made up.

If good things happened, they'd still moan too!

Going off the interview posted on here yesterday it seems that he has already done a lot of research.
If the rumours of Joyce are true I think we are moving in the right direction :
Slutsky - a thorough manager, decent background, eager for success
Pennock - experienced coach, knows the club and players well, will be a good link to assist the manager
Joyce - could be a good DoF, great contacts, knows all levels of the British game (been around Man Utd will give him the premiership know how)
How does Joyce know all levels of the British game?
Pennocks coached kids.
They're both **** appointments and so is the other ****er. No one liked him.

There's a good reason a new manager brings his own back room team with him. Communication. They all know each other and what's the boss wants.

Your bro appointed them <laugh>

Do they come out of the womb together?
